Master bathroom features a large, jetted tub with a private garden window well featuring a lion's head fountain. There's also a separate, large shower, towel warmer, beverage center and built in hair dryer and laundry hamper in the bathroom. There is an outdoor laundry and seating area on the large, covered patio

I have traveled most of my life as an apparel sales representative, and truly value great living accommodations. I strive to provide any extras my guests might need so they can be as comfortable as possible during their stay with me. With a degree in design, I'm constantly improving my home to make it as functional as it is beautiful. I really enjoy hosting and entertaining, but also respect the privacy of my guests..

Why owner/property manager chose Los Angeles

This property is very centrally located to downtown Los Angeles, and the Greater Los Angeles area. You can get to Hollywood in 20 minutes, and the San Fernando Valley in less than 30. Burbank airport is only 20 minutes away and LAX is 40 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. I'm near the MTA Gold Line, Southwest Museum station where you can buy a day pass for only $7.00 and go just about anywhere in this city in a day. I'm half a block from the Glendale freeway which you don't hear at all. Additionally it's very quiet here as I'm up in the hills. It feels like the country when you're here, but in minutes you can get to most any of Los Angeles' hot spots.

What makes this house unique

Beautiful landscape with a terraced private pool and an outdoor poolside eating area and chaise lounges. A large covered patio looks out over the pool with a seating area. A front deck looking out into the hills with another outdoor seating area. The master suite has a separate entrance off of the garage where you can park your car. The en suite bathroom has a large jetted tub, large separate shower, towel warmer, built in hair dryer, coffee/tea bar and two bath robes. The property features 3 picturesque outdoor seating areas: one on the front deck, looking out into the hills, one poolside and another in the large covered patio looking out to the pool.

Ron and Deb were such a pleasure to host in my home. Both of them are so nice, friendly and appreciative. We had a lot in common as both of them are very much into construction and home improvement. They were so kind to me when I purchased a much needed air conditioning unit for the downstairs since our weather this Summer into October has been unseasonably hot. They literally pitched in and did most of the installation for the air conditioning unit so they could sleep comfortably the next very hot October night. They were so thoughtful that the next morning I got an email from them telling me how comfortable they were the next night in our October, 100 degree weather. I really enjoyed their visit, and hope they come back to stay with me in the future. Ron and Deb, the A/C awaits you!

Excellent Mountain Suite Stay...Better than any hotel...

Fabulous stay in LA! Place is centrally located with convenient access to freeways. Suite was very clean and cozy, and property is pretty with a beautiful pool, and front patio. (Unfortunately it was too cold to swim). Located on a mountain, the views are pretty, quintessential southern California. Place had lots of extras left for our use/enjoyment including an umbrella and rain jackets, well organized resources for local attractions and restaurants, and a wide assortment of breakfast foods, beverages, and snacks. Jacuzzi tub was an added touch. Stay was quiet and quaint, with private parking in home's garage. It was affordable and very enjoyable, and Judith was a gracious host--we highly recommend this place for any couple visiting LA. One caveat--there are several stairs on the property so it may not be the best place for someone with physical limitations.

Perfect place to stay!

Great location (easy access on & off freeway & so close to everything near LA), wonderful accommodations (Judy went out of her way to make sure you feel right at home. She didn't miss a thing! From snacks & beverages to toiletries....it's all right there! There's a nice size little fridge, microwave, Keurig, cereal, basket of goodies, shampoo, soap, bubble bath, jetted tub, towel warmer, etc), comfortable bed (slept like a baby), it's charming & clean and you even get to park in the garage! All in all, it's just a perfect place to stay! We truly enjoyed staying there and hope to go back soon! Thanks for making our first vrbo experience so great!!!!!!

Relaxing welcoming affordable private accomodation

My husband and I enjoyed our 6 night stay in this private B & B like room and spa like bathroom. It was clean, and as depicted in the description. We were out a lot and so didn't spend much of our time there, but enjoyed having our morning coffee outside on the picnic table with a view of the hills. Coffee, teas, Breakfast and snack foods, including home made muffins, were provided, we did not have to go out for breakfast. We did relax by the pool one late morning, I took a dip in the pool. I appreciated that I could do a load of laundry there. Location is convenient to freeways, Eagle Rock and Pasadena. The owner was very approachable, and responsive to all of our needs. I would stay there again!

Very Nice Place...Definitely would go here again

I needed a place to stay while visiting a college friend in Altadena and Judy's place worked out great for me. Judy was very welcoming and made sure that I had everything I needed. Judy had the place well stocked. There were drinks in the fridge, snacks and breakfast foods in the pantry. I didn't have to get anything...she pretty much had it all. I loved the bathtub...I wish I could have used it, but wanted to save water since we are currently in a drought. I didn't have to worry about parking since I was able to use the garage. The property was really close to where I needed to go (mainly Pasadena) and real easy to get to the Burbank airport. Very nice neighborhood and very quiet. We also had a really nice conversation when I got the keys from her. It was only a quick weekend trip, but after meeting Judy and staying at her place, I wish I could have stayed longer. I will definitely come back here when I visit my friend again.

Great host, look no further for the perfect LA stay!

The house was situated in a peaceful neighbourhood surburb of LA 10 minutes down the freeway to many LA attractions like Universal Studios and Hollywood. There was a beautiful pool outside and we couldn't believe all the amenties and little extra touches our host Judy had provided. Pop Tarts, loads of snacks, bubble bath, bath salts I could go on forever, everything you could ever need was there! We even arrived to find a folder full off tips of the best local restaurants, things to do, grocery stores etc. There was also a fab jetted bath tub which was great for relaxing in after a long day sightseeing. If we needed anything Judy was on the end of the phone and she even gave us a bag of muffins and travel bag to take with us on our long flight back to the UK! We will definately be back!
