Easy walk to beach

  • 3 of 5

Older first floor home in a great location. The beds were not very comfortable but doable for a few nights. The window air conditioners made a lot of noise as did the water heater. Very clean, well supplied for coffee, cooking and if you wanted to BBQ the charcoal grills looked awesome. The beach box at the beach was helpful as were the beach passes both supplied by Edward the owner.

Great house, perfect location, awesome landlord

  • 5 of 5

1) Fantastic location - barely a 10-minute walk from the beach, on a quiet side street with plenty of parking, and the immediate 2-3 block radius around the house is its own fun little neighborhood with tons of nice little restaurants, cafes, etc. - and a very pleasant park

2) The house itself is very comfortable and well-kept, with a pleasant outdoor area and a couple different indoor seating areas. clean and well-maintained with lots of natural light

3) Edward is a fantastic "landlord" - extremely responsive to communication (both phone and email), very pleasant and accommodating, and a completely reasonable list of "asks" for renters (clean up after yourself, take out the trash, don't leave the A/C running with the windows open, etc.)

Can't recommend this place highly enough. We loved it, and will absolutely stay here our next time in Cape May.

Great location, pretty outdoor area, friendly owner

  • 3 of 5

It's a short walk to the beach, and the owner makes available his box on the beach containing chairs, an umbrella, and sand toys. First-floor unit was a bit musty and worn, and bringing our own towels and bedding was ok for us as we came by car but might be a problem for guest flying in?

Loved the strings of lights over the yard which came on with a timer!

Charming cottage! Great location. Can't wait to get back.

  • 5 of 5

This cottage is in the perfect location. Plenty of walking distance restaurants (you must try Sapore) and the beach is nearby. Parking was a little iffy Friday night but the weather was bad so we assume most people were driving instead of walking. The house is plenty spacious as there were just 2 of us. Only regret is that we couldn't enjoy the backyard due to the weather.

Charming Place!

  • 5 of 5

This place was amazing...just a few blocks walk to the beach, major streets/shops, and restaurants. The owner was easy to work with and was always available if we needed him. We didn't get to use the beach box since it was off season, but all important amenities were provided (wifi, heat, washer/drier, full use of kitchen). We provided our own linen as instructed and did not have any problems (pillows and a few quilts were already provided). The place was located on the first floor, which was perfect for 2 pregnant women and their husbands! There was a little breakfast room where we relaxed and even completed the 500 piece puzzle that was there! Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Cape May Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful 3-night stay in this perfectly-located, perfectly-sized cottage. Ed was very accommodating and communicative. The beach badges were great, but we were equally pleased with having access to Ed's beach box - makes the day at the beach even more enjoyable! Easy walk (or bike - we brought our own) to the beach - no need to lug your chairs and umbrellas.

The cottage was clean and bright and had all of the kitchen and space necessities. Location is really ideal - far enough away to be peaceful and quiet when you need it, but close enough to leave the car parked!
