The Owner purchased this house in 2014
Purchased this property as a fixer upper with the intention of reselling or conventional renting. As I worked on it I began to think about the short term rentals and decided to furnish it up and make it a nice place to stay. I am confident you will find the house both inviting and very clean and comfortable.
Easy access to I-44 at the NW 23rd street exchange. about 2 or 3 minutes from the house. I-40 is straight south on Portland avenue and takes about 5 minutes to get to. From these highways just about any place in OKC is an easy drive. All kinds of dining along NW 23rd street as you go east, take 16th street east about 2 miles and you arrive at the Plaza District, a hipster type area with bars, restaurants and other entertainment. Deaconess Hospital is just north on Portland and Baptist Medical Center is just north on I-44 along with Mercy Medical Center a little further north.
The house worked perfectly for us. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed having two separate spaces to watch t.v., read, or use our computers. I would recommend it!
This was my second stay this year and I will be back again. Great home, clean and plenty of space to spread out and relax.
This was a very easy commute to the fairgrounds. The house was so cute. They had everything, including shampoo...just in case you forget. The only down side was the barking dog across the street. Started barking about 1:15 am and continued NON STOP until about 5:45 am. Thankfully it didn't do this every night. LOVED the two separate lounging areas. Came in handy when Christmas movies and Football coincided.
Rented this adorable little home for 9 days while we were horse showing at the State Fair Park. We were SO HOT and TIRED when we got in each day and the house was the perfect respite for us to cool down, clean up and rest! All the amenities you could want, cute, cute, cute and in a very quiet neighborhood but close to anything you'd need. Ron is great to work with, answers all your questions quickly....a great host!
The owners had everything in place nd very clean hich is important to us.
They had an thing possible that you could want, just like home.
We were visiting our son and his family and wanted a home like atmosphere opposed to a hotel. We could not have asked for a better location or accommodations. We will be returning for visits and hope to stay again.
