A Three Generation Family Vacation
Great location and well appointed, this beautiful historic home was a great house for three generations of our family from three different states to cook, visit and eat in. We loved the kitchen and the huge deck and the quick access to the lake. We had a great time, but had some weird blips regarding the house. Unfortunately, the elderly neighbors the pier is shared with is extremely tired of 'renters' and had no problem yelling at us from their deck while were enjoying ourselves on the area that came with the house--two days in a row. They quite literally kept an eye on us and made us feel very unwelcome. Some of the closets had bedding wadded up and shoved inside of them, which was odd. The listing included a two-car garage, but the garage was absolutely full of dirty piles of things and a table of literal garbage. The last day of our stay a man let himself onto the property via the side gate and came up on the deck and serviced the hot tub. Wha?! We had zero notice and zero idea he was coming and no way to even know who he was, other than the fact that well--he showed up and had hot tub cleaning equipment. We had brought two dogs that were on the deck--how would he have known if they were used to strangers? And besides that--it was a total violation of our privacy. My Mother and Father in-law were napping in the next room. When my sister-in-law went onto the deck to see who he was and what he was doing he was super rude and vigorously scolded her about how dirty the hot tub was. She is an engineer and was able to decipher the 12-page manual the hot tub came with, and had done daily maintenance as the manual dictated we do. He told her he had to 'shock' the tub and we would not be able to use it for 5 hours. He scrawled a note in pencil on a piece of paper that read DO NOT USE FOR FIVE HOURS and left in on the lid of the tup under a rock--to make sure we got the message. We paid for the house on that day, which included the use of the hot tub. Half of our family was out ziplining and came home ready to jump into the tub while dinner was being made but, we couldn't. I have absolutely no idea why this man showed up and treated us this way, and I still don't have an idea who he was. For the amount we paid for the rental, we expected to have a more seamless experience, and to be treated more professionally.

We were expecting a fenced yard but the property included access to 2 other homes.
The jacuzzi was yellow and dirty. Chose not to use it. Asked to start laundry. No detergent available.

Amazing location for a summer stay!
The property is fantastic. You can walk to the beach and see the water from the back deck. You can also walk to Sunnyside Cafe and the market. The house is spacious and very clean. The neighbors are also very nice! The only suggestion I would have is to replace the mattresses. Otherwise, everything is awesome!

Amazing vacation home with a great view
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I rented this property with my now husband for a wedding. We had the most amazing time using this beautiful landscape to celebrate our love. The use of the pier and beach was a huge perk that we absolutely loved. The people at vacation Tahoe/O’neal were amazing and very helpful whenever I had a question. The homeowners were also really awesome and helped us make this event perfect. I cannot recommend using them enough and would love to use them again when I plan on doing an anniversary trip up in Tahoe city
