My husband and I visited Apalachicola in June of 2013 and stayed at the loft; we have been searching for the quintessential Southern town – unspoiled by high-rise condos and chains – we found it in Apalach. We loved Apalach and the loft so much, we leapt at the chance to become the new owners and plan to continue to share the loft with visitors when we are not there.
The former owner is an artist and business woman who expertly renovated the space into the lovely loft you see pictured on the web site. With its exposed brick inside, expansive Cypress woodwork and airy high ceilings, the loft is a welcoming haven for visitors. It has the charm of downtown Apalach right outside its door, but also has privacy with an entry through a charming gated courtyard. Many restaurants and shops in the community have been featured in Southern Living, Coastal Living, and Wine Spectator. But what really sold us is the charm of the local residents. Nice people and genuinely kind with visitors.
Apalach is a walk-around-town with a collection of interesting and quaint shops. We’d be glad to share our favorites when you contact us. Our son will be helping to manage the web site, bookings and correspondences, so feel free to reach out to him and we will be glad to provide more information about both Apalachicola and the loft.

We were fortunate to have the opportunity to buy the loft when it went on the market shortly after we stayed there for a long weekend; we hope you will enjoy the charm that both the loft and Apalach offer. Enjoy -
A unique living experience awaits at YuleTide. Enjoy the airy loft, which looks out on your private courtyard. Walk to award winning restaurants and wine bars. Unique shopping, antiquing, and art galleries await you. World class fishing and wildlife sightseeing all a couple blocks away at the marina.
Thank you for the wonderful place to stay. We had a great time and the accommodations were perfect! Thanks again and hope to come again soon.
We loved being close to the "action", yet also isolated. Loved the loft and the space provided. Kitchen was well equipped. A great spot for a couple. The soaking tub was an absolute bonus!! We would definitely return to rent Yuletide.
The loft was comfortable and enjoyable despite some difficulty with the door lock. Every thing was clean and well stocked. Location was fabulous. We worried about possible noise issues but not so. We walked everywhere. Loved the historic walking tour. The Dixie Theater had a show while we were here and we loved it. We hope to get back. Thanks for a great stay!
Another great trip to Apalachicola! This loft is so charming, clean and comfortable! It's tucked away but in walking distance to everywhere you'd want to go in town. Had a question about locking the door and management was quick with an answer. Thank you again for sharing Yule Tide with us! We'll be back soon!
Great-looking and very comfy place all around. Apalach is such a sleepy town
at night, so the gas station next door was not a problem at all since it closes early.
We really enjoyed having access to the bikes as riding around town is very
pleasant and a great way to work off all the delicious seafood. We'll return to
