We will definitely return to this property. Excellent value for the rental. Super clean ( yes, I check under the furniture at vacation rentals), well appointed, decorated EXACTLY as an Old San Juan residence should be, very comfortable beds, great AC, well equipped kitchen and much more. We were met at the property by Lourdes and she made us feel welcomed. We were able to easily walk to all the restaurants, shops, and sites. Beautiful experience!
Vacation trip to Puerto Rico
I had the most amazing wonderful experience and so happy to be near all amenities in Old San Juan. Looking forward for my next trip.
The property lived up to the way it was advertised. Very clean and well kept. The location was amazing with a great view of the fort. Easy walk to restaurants and a short Uber ride to other local clubs and bars and beaches. I would recommend this location to anyone wanting to travel to San Juan.
Enjoyed immensely! Good location on Ocean Walk. Comfortable casa! All lovely except temperature.....heat and humidity!
Very comfortable and authentic!
The Tropical Patio 2 bedroom rental was just right for or stay. We were a party of 3 consisting of mom and 2 adult kids and stayed for 4 nights. We wanted something that was really authentic in Old San Juan and were not disappointed! The beautiful, palm filled, open air patio was in the center of the space surrounded by air conditioned 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and kitchen. The kitchen was well appointed, user friendly and even had a small dishwasher and had a washer dryer but i didn't use it. The unit was within walking distance to everything OSJ had to offer. When going to San Juan we walked to the ferry. Wanda met us as we arrived from the cruise pier and came back by to retrieve the keys upon checkout. Lovely stay!
Amazing Place to Stay
This place was walking distance to everything, and it was amazing.
Old San Juan is the oldest city on US Territory and part of the World Heritage. It is about 8 by 8 blocks of unique colonial style architecture and offers everything from restaurants, bars, Puerto Rican coffee shops, galleries, open air music, and nice paths to walk by the Port & Ocean, tourist shops, Marshalls, grocery store to a drug store with pharmacy. The closest unofficial beach is in front of the Capitol Building in about 10-15 walking minutes from almost anywhere in Old San Juan. The nearest blue flag beach is called El Escambron and can reached in about 25-30 minutes walking along the Atlantic Ocean or in about 5 minutes by car/ taxi or bus. Old San Juan has a bus station from where you can go to Plaza Las Americas, the biggest mall in the Caribbean, to the Convention Center, as well as to Condado and Isla Verde, the other two main tourist spots along the coast of San Juan. Condado and Isla Verde are the modern parts of the city and have great beaches, hotels & casinos & much more... Learn more about Parking in Old San Juan: Old San Juan provides free of charge on street parking, which is usually hard to find. It is more likely to find a spot between 6 am and 8 am and between 4 pm and 7 pm. During business hours and later at night it might take a while to find a spot and it can turn out to be challenging at times. All of our apartments are within walking distance of parking buildings and/or lots, providing overnight rates or hour rates for the additional hours. The most economic parking rental is a public lot by Paseo de la Princesa at the southwest city wall of Old San Juan. There are several parking buildings all over town: “Ballaja” on the northwest section of Old San Juan right by El Morro, “La Cochera” in the center of town on Calle Luna between Cruz and San Justo Street , “Dona Fela” in the south center on Recinto Sur and the most economic parking building “Covadonga” right on top of the public bus station as well on Recinto Sur, one block east of the Old San Juan Sheraton Hotel.
