Overstuffed denim sofa and club chair in the living area invite an afternoon nap. TV and WIFI connections are available as you lounge the evening away. The dining table seats four to six.

The large Kitchen is a great place to boil up those blue crab you just brought up from the traps off the dock. It is fully equiped but if you still need a bit of this or that, just call me. If it is in my kitchen, I will bring it to you.The Laundry room is just off the kitchen.

A Fish Cleaning Station is available for the ones that didn’t throw that hook. It's only a short walk down the driveway to the dock and the crab traps, ready to be refilled with the remains of today's catch. Ample parking space and conveniently located hoses make cleaning your boat easy.

About Janna

We sailed into this area in 1992 from our home in the Caribbean. After years in the hospitality business, and marine woodworking, we were ready to find a home in the Florida Panhandle that would make us want to give up the cruising life. When we first visited Indian Pass, we knew we had found that special place.

Janna purchased this house in 2003

Why Janna chose North West Florida

We had the opportunity to buy this property from our dear neighbor, Bertha. It would make a perfect addition to our very special Retreat. We want to share this jewel of a place with others seeking a quiet, friendly, beach community.

What makes this house unique

We are on site owners, and available for any assistance you might need. Our dock is a great place to get blue crabs for dinner, or to catch that redfish. Oystering in the area is also a lot of fun. We are a short walk to the beach, and centrally located to all that this incredible area has to offer. Most of our guests have arrived as strangers, and become good friends that return year after year. We look forward to those shared experiences each year, memorialized over shrimp and crab boils at our home on the Lagoon.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We enjoyed the stay. Everything was great for my husband, myself, and our child. My 9 year old felt so comfortable, she slept in a room by herself. That is something she usually doesn't do away from home. That said a lot about your home. May God continue to bless this home. By the way, Bernard really appreciated the starter plants, this will help us to remember our stay here.

We had a great stay at their house. They were great with talking to our boys and making sure all was good for our stay. Bob showed my husband how to clean and cook the crab. Will be back! Good fishing

Wonderful Month

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful month at Indian Pass. As always, the Turtle House was clean and welcoming. Bob and Janna are the best hosts and we always enjoy visiting with them and having Bob go fishing with us. The fishing was great and not a drop of rain marred the fishing days. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get away and relax.

Owner's Response: Thanks Sue, for your review. Yes, the weather did cooperate this year. But right now it is raining like crazy. Also, thanks for telling us about the problems with the stove. It is the only way we have of knowing what problems we need to address. A new stove is in place and ready for your next visit...what month will you choose for next year?
