Lovely Holiday Apartments in perfect location with Pool

A very nice Hotel/House with a number of little apartments and a common pool, garden and BBQ. Very clean, well maintained and kitchen has everything you need. It is 10 min walk to the Gouvia beach, and nice and quiet. We had a lovely stay.

It was a good size, basic, clean but nothing fancy. Plenty parking.

The area of Kontokali is on the outskirts of Gouvia but it is like a shanty town. Very run down and not much happening. A gorgeous coffee spot on the main road and a nice complex on the other side of the street with a nice bar and they are happy to have the custom. If you are happy with a five minute stroll in Gouvia then there is plenty to see and do. Kontokali marina is just that. Boats boats and more boats but nothing else that we could see. No cafes which I think is a missed opportunity as they are happy for you to wander but not stay obviously. There are buses every 20 minutes into corfu town and back from early morning until 11 at night. Sunday a bit different so always check. Great if you just want a base.
