Beautifully Decorated Home In Quiet Neighborhood, Close To Beach

New, 1 bedroom/1 bath beautifully furnished home. Beautifully decorated. 70 inch flat screen TV included. Less than 1 mile from Pacific Coast Highway, a 10 min. bike ride from the Balboa Peninsula, a 5 minute drive to Fashion Island and a quick walk to 17th street's fun restaurants, boutiques and surf shops. Includes secure garage with washer/dryer. Beach chairs and towels and beach cooler also. Comes with 2 beach cruisers bicycles! No children or pets allowed. No exceptions. No smoking of any kind allowed in the unit or on the property. Check in time is 3 PM and check out time is 11 AM.

This property was purchased due to its perfect location and wonderful neighborhood. It is brand new. The location is easily accessible to the beach, great restaurants and wonderful shopping.

This is the ultimate home to relax in and enjoy. We have created a space that is beautifully decorated that will immediately make you feel at home.

Gary and Susan are consummate hosts. They were so accommodating, although the apartment is so well planned there wasn't any occasion to ask for anything. It is gorgeous, well supplied and immaculate - and I mean eat off the floor immaculate. The feel is very "elegantly relaxed". The small garden and private entrance and lounging area are also pristine and the plantings well chosen and artistically arranged. Snacks and fruit were waiting for me along with crucial coffee and a Panettone for the next morning. The sofa is great for lounging and watching the gorgeous large TV screen. Sound is hard wired to ceiling speakers for great stereo sound. There is another large screen TV in the bedroom. The bed is wonderfully luxurious and comfortable, there were plenty of towels and there is a large walk in closet to house your stuff. There is plenty of room in the kitchen and the right pots and pans for real cooking (my son's gf made amazing herbed chicken and roasted potatoes for 4). The private garage has a washer dryer which came in handy and the hosts provided a fine beach cruising bike. I used it exclusively to get back and forth to meetings two miles away. I didn't use the beach chairs and towels due to my schedule but they are there for the beach which is a short way. The neighborhood is quiet, very clean and the homes are well cared for. Yet it is convenient to a commercial stretch of stores and shops on 17th street two blocks away. If my son decides to stay in the area for a while, I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. You absolutely could not go wrong.

Newport property gets 100% rating

Thank you for providing us such a beautiful, exceptionally clean and comfortable apartment for the winter months. We loved that this property included a garage, washer/dryer, two bikes and was in a beautiful neighborhood within a bike ride from the Newport pier. Our stay could not have been more comfortable and we look forward to visiting again next year to be close to our daughter and her family.

Perfect for an extended stay.

We stayed here for 2-1/2 months and loved it. We would definitely stay again if we choose to "snowbird" in Southern California again next winter. The space is roomy, well laid out and tastefully decorated. All of the family members and friends who visited us were extremely impressed, and we found it easy to entertain our guests. The bed was very comfortable. The HVAC was very efficient at keeping us warm or cool--regardless of the outside weather. Susan was very prompt and responsive in addressing our pre visit questions and post arrival issues. She even bought some extra dishes for us so that we could have guests over for meals. There are a few items that future visitors might consider bringing with them: an alarm clock for the bedroom, extra hangers and good quality chef's knives. (The two serrated blade knives in the kitchen are not particularly functional.) Serious cooks might also consider bringing a favorite frying pan or skillet with cover. There is a complete set of cookware in the kitchen, but it is all light weight Teflon. The location is outstanding. We enjoyed long walks in the surrounding neighborhoods. It was easy to reach Pacific Coast Highway and the CA 55 freeway as well as the commercial areas along 17th St. and Newport Bl. There is a moderate amount of traffic on 15th St., largely because it goes to the nearby high school and provides good access to the neighborhood. However, traffic noise does not start until about 7:15 AM on weekdays and is largely over by 5:30 PM. (This was far better than the never-ending traffic noise that our family members encountered when staying at a VRBO in Balboa Bl.) Also, Susan and Gary stored a "white noise" maker in the closet that could be used to mask the traffic noise for guests who might be particularly sensitive to it. Overall, this was one of the best VRBO/Airbnb experiences that we have had!

Delightful destination!

This gem is a perfect destination for comfort, lovely decor, and convenient to all attractions and restaurants situated in a neighborhood away from the hustle bustle. Susan and Gary were fabulous hosts providing info for the area and quick responses to inquiries while giving us complete privacy to enjoy their apartment as our own. The unit was beautifully decorated with all the modern conveniences. We especially enjoyed air-conditioning, which is not available in many of the units in Newport Beach, as well as the two big screen televisions and the comfy king bed. The garage was an added bonus with a washer and dryer and two bikes which was wonderful! Absolutely one of our favorite rentals ever! Thanks Susan and Gary!

Beautiful immaculate convenient!

Thank you for being so accommodating! We enjoyed our quick stay in your tastefully simple space! My daughter did not want to leave the comfort of the king size bed and I enjoyed unwinding by the window and catching up on my reading!!

very nice

The rental was just as advertised. Beautiful layout. Well maintained, very clean and nice.

Use of the bikes was a real plus for us. Made it easy to get around the area and down to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely use it again. We would highly recommend this property.
