What makes this House unique
This home is centrally located and close to all the local attractions: Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Discovery Science Center, Angel Stadium, the Honda Center, and Bowers Children's Museum. Based on my familiarity with the local attractions, beaches, restaurants, and various family-friendly activities, I've compiled a packet of information that guests may use as a resource to enrich their vacation experience. In addition, this home is equipped with all the modern amenities that you will need during your stay in Orange County.

Had to wait outside the property for an hour because they gave us the wrong door code, not good after travelling for 18 hours!
Not bad but not great either.
We stayed at this home for four nights while we went to Disneyland. The home is only about 15 minutes from Disneyland and was convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. However, the listing of the home was a little misleading as this home is listed as 2274 sq feet but is actually much less-- approximately 1556 sq feet. The additional footage is in the detached guest home. The guest home is a nice space but does not have central air and heat. While this home worked for us, it may not work well if you need a large indoor living space. I will say that the management company was excellent and helped us access the guest home when we could not access it with the code provided. However, the home was not clean. There were dishes in the dishwasher, a big glob of hair in one of the beds, and one of the bathrooms was not clean ie hair and dirt spots in the tub. The pool was nice but the hot tub was cold and we could not figure out how to turn up the heat. In addition, the water for the shower/bath was barely hot enough to take a shower even when there was no cold water mixed in. Also, the cable television in the living room did not work as the inputs on the television were broken and the cable box could not be plugged in to them. The walls of the home were scuffed and scratched and definitely needed repainted. The refrigerator in the guest house was dripping water and had mold inside of it. Overall, the home met our needs but was in serious need of repairs and perhaps a better cleaning staff. With the many options of vacation homes in Anaheim area, it is unlikely that we would choose this home for future stays in the area.
To many issues
All TV's had to be reset from prior guest by maintenance, plus a remote was replaced. No instructions on how TV's worked. I am not a "Techie".
Pool was not clean & appeared old in need of resurfacing and might have caused a pipe to burst (water fountain in the backyeard - again maintenance had to be called. Outside garbage container was full & understand pick day was during out visit, but there were no instructions to put containers out .
The house, although very cute & comfortable is in need of much TLC & better maintenance by cleaning service - painting (walls had many scuff marks), kitchen sink (copper is coming off) needs replacing (has an odd order when mixed with water, master shower curtain was covered in mold (bought a new plastic liner), the microwave was dirty inside. ceiling lighting in the dining room had only one of three bulbs working. the one fry pan had to be rewashed & handle was coming off - just needed to be replaced.
All that said the staff (especially the maintenance guys that came to the house) were very helpful & friendly.
Our New Home away from Home....
I can’t say enough about this place. It is everything you are looking for in a vacation rental and includes a great hot tub and pool area. We really enjoyed our stay especially as first time Disney and Cali visitors. (Easy commute to Disney, downtown and all around places to eat if you need a quick pick me up.)
Ali was great an answering and getting things taken care of at the house if we had questions or things needed taken care of.
Our main thing we disliked was the backyard (enforced) 10pm curfew. As a family who loves out doors and spends A LOT of our time outside it was hard to tell the kids we couldn’t go outside after 10pm. That’s our only complaint, we seen other reviews with paint issues, floors etc which almost kept us from choosing this amazing gem.... Take a chance on this one— we plan to call this one our home away from home for future trips, soon!!!!!
Great property, great location!
This property has a lot to offer and it turned out to be perfect for our vacation. Would have given 5 stars had it been cleaned when we arrived (they did come right away, it just kinda ruined it for our first few hours there). There are a couple of things we would love to have done a bit more thoroughly, like having the floors cleaned real
well (it seemed as if the floors were not cleaned as our feet and socks turned black the first day, but also realize floors like that are hard to keep clean, but a couple of rugs by entry way doors would be a great help for this); it would be so good to possibly have a fresh coat of paint on the walls to make it feel fresh, a new faucet in the kitchen (it leaked real bad) and some oil on the door hinges to make leaving your room not so obvious. :-) These are just minor things, and not a huge complaint as these things didn't ruin our vacation at all, but good to know. Otherwise the house had everything you could need to cook, do laundry and enjoy yourselves. And the guest room was absolutely perfect for our 16, 19 & 22 year old guys we had with us!! We left a cooler for the next guest to use and it appears that's what people do, leave behind little items for the next guest and makes for a fantastic stay! I would recommend this house to others to stay in, just would love to see a couple of updates as mentioned here to make the next person's stay even better.
First impression was that the house was smaller than expected and required a coat of paint.
Well equipped and in a good location. Backyard, heated pool and hot tub were fantastic. Guest house was very nice but because of the cooler weather was not usable as it did not appear to be heated. No issues with communication with management. Disneyland fireworks were partially visible from the backyard. Nice stay.
