Ritz Pointe is located in a beautifully landscaped, private, safe, gate-guarded, family oriented Condominium Community called Monarch Hills in Ritz Pointe next door to the famous Monarch Beach Resort in Monarch Beach / Dana Point.

Meander down a gently sloping, beautifully landscaped pedestrian oriented path. to The Strands Beach located just in front of The Ritz Carlton Hotel.

Ritz Pointe is just up the road from The Orange County Dana Point Harbor and downtown Dana Point. Located towards the northern section of Dana Point in the Monarch Beach area, it is just a short 15 min drive into the beautiful and ‘artsy’ seaside town of Laguna Beach.

Ritz Pointe is also convenient and within a short drive from the historic San Juan Capistrano where the Mission San Juan Capistrano and the quaint Los Rios District is surrounded with charming antique shops, restaurants, and art galleries. There’s even a petting zoo for the smaller members in your family!

Great ovation, great apartment, my family loved it!

Beautiful property in a great location. The pool and spas were very well maintained. Apartment was modern and very well kept. Could not ask for anything more. Short drives to the beach or a longish walk to Salt Creek beach. The walk is gorgeous taking you through monarch beach resort and golf. Property has a bunch of beach stuff in the front closet that was very helpful. Overall 5 star experience!

Comfy Condo

Comfortable condo in San Juan. The property is not within walking distance of the beach, so if you are carting a surf board, bring your truck, but within a 10+ minute drive. This condo is on the bottom floor, so if you are sensitive to noise, be aware that you will have neighbors. For the most part, our stay was quiet, but the upstairs neighbors did like to do laundry early in the morning - something that may have been able to be managed if it had become an issue. The hot tub is very close, so if you're a fan, you have fast and convenient access. There are plenty of CA signs about not wasting water, however, the dishwashers is so poor at actually cleaning dishes, you will need to wash them, before you wash them. The other appliances seemed to work well, however, so a dishwasher upgrade would be a nice touch in this condo. The fans in the bathroom are "aggressive" - super loud & no option to turn off if you want lights. Another great improvement would be a fan that didn't make you feel like you were at the airport - but otherwise the showers were in good working order and the bathroom and closets were clean and provided plenty of space to put things away. Beds were fine, and TV's in the bedrooms were nice. The internet worked well - with a minor outage mid-trip. The company you need to call to fix it is not local, so be aware that they won't know who you are or where you are located and the address doesn't come up for them. Was a bummer way to spend an hour, but was the only real issue we encountered. There are trails nearby which was nice for running, and the theater and restaurants are close by. Parking is great if you have a car, and only slightly annoying to manage a larger vehicle in (we were here for the horse show and had a large truck) - but doable with some effort. There were several light switches that didn't seem to be attached to anything, but we had enough lights/plug ins that did work that it wasn't an issue. Our favorite area was the front room and the nice, comfy chair to sit in and relax at the end of the day. Overall, a good stay and with a couple of touch ups, the facility could get a 5 star rating.

This vacation rental was recently purchased at the start of this year by another owner and she’s planning on some amazing remodeling which will include a new dishwasher and new bathroom ceiling fans. She’s also going to be replacing the cabinets, countertops, appliances, and all the flooring as well. It’s going to be great! You’ve reached out to us several times before and during your stay via our 1.800 number which is our answering service. We publically list the 800 number so we don’t miss any calls… day or night. The information is passed to us on an email so unless the caller identifies which rental they’re calling from the answering service may not know. Just so you… and anyone else reading this response… Vacation Concierge is a local hospitality & management service representing individually owned vacation rentals. We’re located in Dana Point (about 5 minutes from this particular rental). I do recall that you emailed us over the weekend about the internet. We responded back immediately that the cable service phone number, address of the unit, and all the information you needed was provided in the custom guidebook for this home. You did let us know later that day that all was fine but that the cable service had the address classified in a different way than as it noted by the post office. We so enjoyed having you as our guests! We hope you come back next year for the horse show. -Vacation Concierge

Our condo was very convenient but needed a little TLC - we were told that the condo was well appointed and it was not

the towels were old and stained - the carpet was filthy and the condo was also not clean

Owner's Response: Thank you for your input. We're sorry for this guests experience but it would be helpful if they would communicate their needs during their stay. Unfortunately, this guest did not relay any of her needs so we were unaware that there were amenities not up to our standards. All of our vacation rentals are professionally cleaned after each guest stay and an overall comment about the cleanliness isn't all that helpful. If a rental isn't cleaned to our guests satisfaction then it's important to let us known within a day or so of their check in date and we would have sent our cleaning crew to re-clean under the guests supervision. Carpets and flooring are cleaned after each season in preparation for the next and if this was an issue we would have sent our services out to clean even though the condo was scheduled for a carpet cleaning in the fall. Linens do need to be replaced on a more regular basis than a personal residence and had we known there was even one stained towel we would have been right over that day with new, fresh sets of linens for their use. As an aside to all the potential guests who are reading this response it's important to communicate your needs with the company or person during your stay... not afterwards. Allow the owner or management agency an opportunity to correct the situation first as I know it's our desire that ALL of our guests have the best vacation ever. The unit was perfect for our family. We have two kids so it was great for them to have their own space. Just a short drive to beaches and everything seemed close. We loved it!

Pets - Dogs only under 25lbs are allowed for an additional fee of $20 / night (no cats). Service dogs are allowed at a discounted rate of $10 / night with written proof of certification and a photo of the service animal in it’s officially issued service vest.

All reservations include a non-negotiable refundable security deposit. Upon checkout a $5 / night utility use fee and a 4% administrative fee based on the rental amount will be deducted and the remaining balance sent back to the guest. If you choose to make a payment for a reservation by any other method OTHER than a credit card there will be 4% costs savings for this booking.
