Historic cottage in exclusive Lincoln Park neighborhood. 3 bedrooms (1 King and 2 Queens); 2 full and 1 half bath; laundry; full kitchen and family room; media room; 2 car garage; living and dining room; outdoor decks; walking distance to DePaul University, Lincoln Avenue entertainment district, grocery stores, CTA trains, Zoo, lakefront beaches and running trails. Plenty of room for extra beds. Quiet location on exclusive street.
I really liked it but my kids were less than happy with the beds in the secondary bedrooms. There were also odd things missing, like a toaster and limited regular water glasses. Overall, I thought it was very comfortable and in a fabulous location. Paul was wonderfully helpful.
The Lincoln park home had everything you needed for a fantastic Chicago weekend. The house was immaculate in its cleanleness and was very comfortable. Paul brought up some extra air mattresses for some extra friends and family we had coming into town on the second night of our stay. Paul also was full of recommendations for restaurants and bars around the city. Paul made it clear that we would only see him if we needed something from him in the basement apartment and that was absolutely true. The house felt very private for the length of our stay.
Perfect retreat spot in the heart of Lincoln Park. Easy access to downtown, the beach and wrigleyville field. Thanks Paul....
This place was perfect. I came to chicago with 6 friends from undergrad. we are all professionals and married so we want to be comfortable and this place was able to accomodate us. The downstairs is large with several couches. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs. Since there were six of us, Paul set up his large, queen aerobeds for us - in fact, he offered to do this and they were there when I got there. The other beds are also big and comfortable. Linens were clean and nice too. The bathrooms are large and one of the showers even has a steam option. Overall, this was one of the best experiences I've had on VRBO. I will definitely come back. some other general notes. Paul is very nice and knows chicago very well and happy to help with restaurants or advice. Likewise, there is a garage and PAul has several parking passes. This is great for chicago since parking is a nightmare. Lastly, the outside deck is huge and was great for our morning coffee and just relaxing in the afternoon after going out and about. I would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely go back. It would be difficult to go elsewhere.
Wonderful ! Our stay in your lovely home helped to make for awesome and memorable week celebrating my daughters chicago wedding! Thank you for all your help.. You went above and beyond in helping me pull off the 'day before' gatherings in the house!! The home is so comfortable too!!! And the location is, of course, perfect!!!!! Thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!
Girlfriend reunion was enhanced by this great place. It's in a beautiful neighborhood with everything we needed, including easy access to the train. We had plenty of room to visit, cook and relax. Paul was thoughtful and attentive and all around helpful.....thank you!
