Homey and comfortable

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It had everything we needed for a comfortable mountain getaway, located between Boone and Blowing Rock on a beautiful mountain top. Secluded with wonderful walking spaces. May was helpful and welcoming. We appreciate her.

Mountain getaway

  • 5 of 5

Owners were very helpful, even installed an extra window unit since it was warmer than usual, but being at 4000 feet helped keep us comfortable. Secluded and peaceful, we saw deer and turkey, but very close to everything we wanted to do. Very relaxing and we had plenty of room. Loved sitting on front porch especially having morning coffee. We would recommend this cabin.

Great location!

  • 5 of 5

Right between Boone and Blowing Rock but far enough off of 321 to feel secluded. Hardly any traffic around the cabin. Owner was extremely helpful and even brought a new microwave when she found out it wasn't working. Would recommend using their linen as the sheets were soft and their towels were nice and thick. Fans are in every room and the mountain air is cool enough to just have the windows open, with no air conditioning needed. Will absolutely return next year!

This cabin is super sweet. Original log cabin, cozy and well-kept interior. Perfect location.

  • 5 of 5

Perfect location between Boone And Blowing Rock. Everything you need is there. The deer graze in the front yard, and the porch is awesome! The pool table is a nice bonus. We had a wonderful stay, our second visit in as many years! We will come again!

Spacious house

  • 4 of 5

Nice spacious house. It was perfect for my family for our son's graduation from Appalachian State. There was plenty of room for all of us. The pictures don't show all of the areas so I was pleasantly surprised by the dining areas. There was also extra space in the living area. Only negatives I can share would be the musty smell when we arrived.(but it is a mountain house so that might be typical) and the older furniture.

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for your review. With the sunny skylight we are usually void of the mountain musty smell but I am afraid a solid week of rain before your arrival may have been a factor.
