We had a fabulous stay here at your amazing apartment. It had everything we needed and we really enjoyed our whole week coming back to relax and take in the views and sunsets. Thank you for sharing your 5-star apartment with us and we'd definitely return on our next trip to NY. We hope it will be available!
Great location, lovely apartment, beautifully furnished and well stocked/equipped. Exactly as described.Great restaurants in Chelsea and Grammercy Park area. David is a wonderful host and great to deal with. Can recommend without reservation.
This is a fantastic apartment in a great location. The owner has taken great care to provide his guests with a home away from home that pays attention to the little details of living. Communication was fantastic from beginning to end; he was very patient with our late arrival due to a sight seeing cab ride through Queens; and the apartment is equipped with all the mod cons and comforts. We could not have hoped for a better experience.
If you plan on staying five days or more, this would be an ideal apartment to stay in and is everything that is described. The location makes exploring NYC easy. David met us and explained what we needed to know and what was close by in regards to shopping and restaurants. He recommended a great cleaners around the corner that charges $2 per pound for laundry, because who wants to do laundry on vacation? The thing we liked best was getting up late and taking our time, and having breakfast in the morning. The Fairway Market across the street came in handy and has everything you'd need including some good pre-made food and a bakery! Subway lines are in easy walking distance. We walked up to Times Square one day, and continued to Central Park, rode the subway back which dropped us off 2 blocks away. It was nice to come back to a place we considered home! One of the best things is that Eataly is less than a 10 minute walk, if that! We went three times!!! We must've looked like we lived here, cause during our outings, several people asked us for directions. Yes, we felt like we were home. I look forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you David!
The owner of this apartment was reliable and available. He met us at the apartment to show us around. What a nice guy. The apartment has all the conveniences we needed (trouble-free WiFi, extra power outlets in every room). The kitchen has modern appliances and is stocked with plates, cookware, flatware, etc. We got groceries across the street and ate breakfast and lunch at "home" many times during our week stay. We loved the view! When we wanted to sleep in, however, the window treatments were dark and easy to close. It is a well appointed decor and very clean.
This is an amazing location for this price range. 20 minute walk to the High Line Park; subway entrance a block away and many restaurants and stores on 6th Avenue.
Beds are very comfortable, one is a futon in the living room though and requires an extra effort to change from bed back to sofa.
Overall it is an exquisite spot to spend a NYC week. We are so glad we chose it over a hotel for the same price.
You don't really need to consider any other place to stay while in Manhattan. This place is perfect. Location, views, comfort, it's all here. David is the perfect host and a pleasure to do business with. It's the little things, like a power strip on EVERY outlet to charge your electronics, a wide selection of pillows for the comfortable bed and of course it's nicely decorated and lighted. It's exactly as advertised. Did I mention the location?? Blocks from the Highline, great restaurants, wine shop, grocery store, and pharmacy. There is a magnificent view of the Empire State building from the rooftop deck, with a glimpse of the Freedom Tower to the south. Thanks David for letting us stay in your place!
