The room shown is not what I received at all, room was outdated and dirty, was not as spacious as the pictures. When we went to retrieve the linens for the sofa bed, they were in a plastic bag and set and smelled like mildew, I had to call down and said for someone to bring me some new ones. The pool at the lagoon closed at 6:30, not 10. The hot tub was out of order as well. Good luck getting a peddle boat or bike, they only have a few for the entire resort and it's first come first serve, so sign up early. Then they call you early in the morning the day you check out and ask you to come in they have a gift for you....the gift is then trying to sell you a time share. Worst VRBO stay out of any I've had.
Room was great size & very nice. Waterpark was wonderful but closed a little too early for us. It was very clean & had lots of chairs & a covered area with lots of tables. Can't wait to go back!!
First, I would like to say, I have booked many vacations through VRBO in the past and have been very lucky with them. I will continue to utilize VRBO in the future, but not for this particular property.
I have to be honest and say that I would not return to or recommend this property to
my friends and family. When I booked the weekend stay for my daughter and I, I
was unaware that this was a vacation ownership property. When I checked in, the
Front Desk staff were very helpful and extremely pleasant. Check-in was very
easy, however when directed to the concierge staff, I felt the mood change
immediately. I received my parking pass and was pressured nastily to attend one
of the sales presentations. Firstly, I was looking for a nice little weekend
away with my daughter. The gal at the desk said the sales presentation would be
no pressure to buy, but we would receive $100 and another stay at one of the
properties for attending. I mentioned that I was not interested in attending
the presentation but the gal was insistent that I needed to attend (making me
feel very uncomfortable as well as my young daughter) I agreed to the Monday
presentation just to get out of there and start our much needed weekend getaway.
Not a good way to start off being made to feel very pressured and extremely
I will also say the rooms were very nice. Everything inside was well stocked,
clean and very comfortable! I loved the accommodations, however we didn't come
there to stay inside.
As far as the common areas however, not very clean. I understand that it was a
busy weekend because of the Holiday, but the pools were pretty gross. Cloudy
water, and dirt and other items (mainly hair) floating around in the pool.
The activity area was also over crowded. We attempted to ride the Surrey Bike
and there was a two hour waiting list. So we came back an hour and a half later
only to learn that they shut it down for the evening 1/2 hour prior to closing.
They did not explain that to us when we went on the waiting list. So again,
So, paying $16 per day for a resort fee when we didn't even get to enjoy the
resort amenities was not worth it. This property has the potential to be so
much better, and I am just very disappointed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit! The rooms were spotless with all the necessary amenities! Grandchildren absolutely loved the pools! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely going to come back! Thank you!
This place was perfect for us! Our 1 BR condo was very clean, quiet and had all the necessities we needed. The location was close to Disney which was what we wanted! The staff was friendly and very helpful! Although we did not get to enjoy all the amenities this place had to offer, the grounds were well kept and the pool was amazing! Great place for kids!
I would definitely come back again on my next trip!
I am a 55 year old male and I traveled with a long time female friend and we both had a 1 bedroom unit. The first room attempt for me was instantly changed as I opened the door and the room reeked with cigarette smoke. Her's was ok. After I was switched to a better room, I noticed that after spending a day outside, upon entering the room it had a stale, light odor as well but I tolerated it. This facility is better suited for families for the most part. Kids are excited and running about, carrying on in the halls, bright and early. To bad they don't offer an "adult bldg" ... Staff was friendly, knowledgeable & professional. Again, better suited for families as outside there things were commingled. There were repairs going on and concrete saws were running bright and early as well. This was quite annoying. I wonder why they couldn't have chosen a better time of year, instead of peak season. So now I'll nit pick.... it would be nice to have more pressure in the shower (maybe a better shower head?) Also, I was going to take a plastic bag to put my laundry in as they left several plastic trash bags in the trash can. And as I was opening it, it almost knocked me over! It was as if these bags were left in a severely smoke filled room, I mean awful!...Outside of that things went great. If I was going to stay in another resort as such, I would broach the subjects mentioned above.
