About Dorothy Alhadad

My name is Dorothy Alhadad, I grew up in Belfast Northern Ireland, and although i moved away over 30 years ago I still consider Belfast home, the people are among the nicest friendliest people you could ever meet, very warm and welcoming. I go back at least twice a year to spend time with my family, and that is the reason I purchased this property.

Dorothy Alhadad purchased this house in 2014

Why Dorothy Alhadad chose Belfast

I fell in love with this house as soon as i walked through the door, even before the renovations i knew I had to have it, I'm sure you will love it as much as I do, and I hope if you decide to book it you will recommend it to your friends. It has been very tastefully decorated with everything new. Come and see for yourself, I'm sure you'll be very happy you did.

This lovely house is so perfect for anyone looking to have a stay in Belfast. It is packed with everything you could wish and goes way beyound your expectations. Its a quiet street and has local shops, and food outlets within minutes walking distance. The city centre isnt far about 10 mins in a car but is also walkable. I would have no hesitations in either recommending this home or staying again....Just book it you really wont be disappointed.x

Comfortable, Cute. Perfect.

  • 5 of 5

We had such an amazing stay here! Walking into the home my first impression was - "Yes. Exactly what I had in mind." This house was perfect for what we needed, was clean, comfortable, amnesties were perfect. The bedrooms were decorated with homey touches, the bedding provided was lovely. Extra towels and face cloths provided was much appreciated, and the space heaters came in handy for those chilly evenings. The washer and dryer were amazing - I want a set for myself. Overall- a great stay and great hostess.

Perfect place for Belfast!

  • 5 of 5

Everything you'd ever need is right here! It's located next to a bus stop, and shopping is just down the corner. The neighborhood is very well maintained and very quiet and friendly. If you've traveling with a car like we were, there's free parking right outside your doorstep!

Dorothy was very prompt in answering all our questions prior to our arrival--she was even able to allow for an early check-in as we had a very early flight arrival time. Her sister Kathleen met us at the property and went through a quick overview of everything we would need.

I'd highly recommend this rental. It's lovely. Thank you!

Lovely house in a lovely city!

  • 5 of 5

We were greeted warmly by Kathleen (who had left us chocolate eclairs and milk in the fridge), earlier than planned as Dorothy had emailed to say there was nobody in the day before and we could come as early as we liked. It was fabulous to drop off our luggage early as we felt it gave us an extra days holiday. The house is beautifully maintained and had everything we needed to ensure a fabulous holiday. Having not been to Ireland before, we did a fair bit of travelling so the house was really only a "base", but it was lovely to come back to every night and there was plenty of room for all four of us to sit and lazily watch the Olympics on the TV! Even the weather did it's bit and though I'd be lying if I said we didn't see any rain, we didn't see very much, and most days we had a good amount of sunshine - which always makes things better. So, to summarise, a lovely house, in a good location - easy to get to all the main attractions in a short space of time. Thank you Dorothy and Kathleen - and the boys add an extra thank you for the chocolate eclairs!!!

Comfortable, well-provided house owned by lovely welcoming people

  • 5 of 5

Had a lovely stay in this comfortable home. Very cosy with a nice outdoor space we'd have liked to use more if the weather had been better! Convenient location very close to a direct bus route to the city centre, local shops an easy walk and in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The house was extremely well-stocked with everything we could need, had great facilities, and the owners couldn't have been friendlier, more helpful or more welcoming. We would definitely book again if we return to Belfast!
