My husband and I split our time between our home in Dallas, TX and Bass Lake. We were both born in the midwest with summer ties to Northern Michigan. We have six grown children and soon to be 9 precious grandchildren!
Molly Menegay purchased this cabin in 2014
We fell in love with this home while visiting family Up North in 2014. It is a quaint cottage with tons of character. It sits on a small lake boasting beautiful views. Nature abounds with great fishing, varied bird watching and singing frogs!!! You'll love this serene setting. There is a fire pit and patio by the lake. You will also enjoy our deck across the back of the house with a dining table and comfy furniture.
We stayed here for almost two weeks and couldn’t have been more thrilled with our experience. From the cozy decor to the sunrises over the lake to the incredibly helpful and friendly owners, this place is truly special. So special that we are coming back for two weeks later this year.
Perfect setting and all the amenities filled every need we had! We had a very enjoyable time relaxing in the woods!
Loved our stay at Paradise Pines! Peaceful setting on a beautiful, serene lake. This cabin was comfortable and yet cozy and was decorated very nice. It was very clean and well-stocked with anything we needed. Views were just breathtaking from the many windows. It was the perfect arrangement for 2 couples having bedrooms on 2 different floors, each with their own bathroom. Owners were very helpful with planning and supplying local information. Would highly recommend this cabin and it's owners! It is truly a gem! Thanks for sharing your paradise with us!
We stayed here 2 years ago and wanted to come back again to unwind and recharge ourselves. The home was still beautiful and the weather exceptional. We didn't lack for anything and even caught a few fish. We were actually sorry to leave but have some great memories.
I've been renting lake cottages (homes) for many years, and can't recall a place more lovely! Super clean, views to die for, equiped with everything you desire, beautifully decorated, quiet and seculed. Needless to say we had a wonderful time!
Beautiful cabin, excellent layout/floor plan, great view. Well kept. Appreciated unfettered access to the many amenities/supplies and the multiple outlets for support if needed.

Michigan is becoming well known for its wineries; it is currently the 4th largest grape-growing state. Northern Michigan is broken into 3 distinct growing areas; Leelanau Peninsula, Old Mission Peninsula, and the Petoskey and Harbor Springs. The first two areas are approximately 30 minutes from Bass Lake.
For the Beer enthusiasts, we have quite a few great craft breweries Up North as well.
