Check out availability in June and early July! June is a great time to visit - summer is just beginning and the rates are low. There is plenty to do - spend time at the beach, explore Block Island and try some of the restaurants around town, many with al fresco dining. There are ballroom dance lessons every Wednesday night year round at the Towers in the Pier as well as live theater all summer at nearby Theater by the Sea. Early July is also a great time to be in Narragansett. Celebrate the 4th of July! Fireworks are held at several nearby locations. Take in the RI Philharmonic Orchestra's concert on the beach held the week after the 4th - an awesome gathering of groups of friends and families picnicking on Narragansett Beach listening to the sounds of the orchestra while the sun sets. Don't forget to pack the wine!
Enjoy the Southern Tip of Rhode Island on Great Island in scenic Narragansett. Walk to village of Galilee, where you can catch the Block Island ferry or purchase lobsters from the lobster boats on the nearby docks, go to the beach and visit shops, restaurants, ice cream shops and fish markets.

We have come to RI for years to vacation, this was our first year to stay in Narraganett......this house was everything listed in a perfect location. We visited Newport, Mystic, and Watch Hill while staying here.
The house was clean and very well stocked..... Beach chair, sand toys, well equipped kitchen....
My family really enjoyed staying in this cottage. The comfortable, well-appointed home provided everything we needed. The yard, with its patio, table, and chairs, was the perfect spot for a morning coffee or cooling off at the end of a hot day.
Kathy's home was very comfortable and very well stocked with everyday essentials. Cotton sheets and lots of towels, including bath towels. It made the vacation stress free.
We were lucky enough to pick this cute vacation rental June 18-25, 2016. We were looking to rent a property that wouldn't break the bank but large enough for my husband and I, our 2 young children, my Mother, and my brother and sister in law. It was enough space for all of us. The property was very clean. The backyard was very large which was great for our kids. We also loved the location. It is in a quiet family neighborhood with hardly any traffic. It is also walking distance to Salty Brine beach, the shops in Galilee, and the Block island ferry. We drove to Roger Wheeler beach (5 minutes away) which the kids liked because there was a playground and Scarborough beach (10 minutes away) which had larger waves. We were fortunate to have great weather all week but Kathy had given us a list of things to do with kids if it rained. A few times, we used the fresh water access down the street to kayak around Great island. I would recommend this the property to anyone looking for an relaxing week in Narragansett. We can't wait to return next year. Thank you Kathy!
The house is located in the center of Great Island. It's quiet there. The beds are sturdy and comfy. The kitchen is extremely well set up with pots pans cutlery etc. I was very comfortable. The owner is vey helpful thoughtful and nice. I would go back.
The property was in a perfect location to the town and beach. The house was very clean and the owner provided excellent customer service, leaving detailed instructions. We've vacationed in Rhode Island every year for 20 years and this property ranks in our top 3 as far as cleanliness, comfort and location. We walked to the beach, to the Block Island Ferry and to the restaurants in town. We would highly recommend this property to friends and relatives!
