About Rich - Property Manager

I'm originally from Philadelphia but was a pilot in the military for the last 11 years. Now I'm an entrepreneur and moonlight as a HomeAway host. My girlfriend Emily was raised overseas and is a professional scuba diver and aspiring veterinarian. We both Love to travel and have been to over 30 countries. We love to get the local feel when we do travel so HomeAway has been great. Although, we have slept in some really random places in our travels where we wished there was a listing! Loved the location

  • 4 of 5

Rich was responsive to problems when called. Bed slept great. Kitchen and bathroom functioned well. Plenty of outside light if wanted. Many restaurants in immediate neighborhood. If you like blues music try Twisted Tail. Good coal oven pizza on first block of South St. Good Indian on 3rd block of South. Also bus 57 on Madison going north on 3rd St., and 4th street going south - free for 65+. Nearest groceries at 4th and Bainbridge and 4th and Madison. We were lucky as no one in apt. above ours till the last night - you hear through the ceiling all too well.

We had a great time in Philly. The apartment location is fabulous and the kitchen is fully stocked. The apartment was clean and ready for us when we got there. Will definitely rent from Rich in the future. Thanks!

Nice apartment, Great location

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time visiting Philadelphia for the weekend. This apartment was clean and comfortable. It is located on a quiet street near Penn's Landing. We spent the weekend walking and exploring the area, enjoying historical sites, architecture and good food.

Cozy studio in heart of Philadelphia

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I recently stayed in Philadelphia and enjoyed this cozy apartment as our home base. The studio is in a quiet building on a wonderful street near the waterfront and an easy walk to a vibrant restaurant and shopping district. We walked easily to the main areas of town from here which was great too. The apartment is small and is just like the pictures but it works well if you don't plan on spending tons of time in your room. The bathroom is for one person at a time but the shower was nice and hot. There is a charming balcony where my husband enjoyed a cigar or two. A small kitchenette is there if you want to cook something yourself and the fridge is a good size. If you are going in the summer just know that the AC is one of those noisy wall units right above the bed. We would stay here again for ease of use, convenience and the great price!
