I have stayed at Villa Serenita twice and have had excellent experiences both times. The home is well appointed for any length of stay and offers privacy, beautiful views, and an ideal location for a family gathering or getaway. When we weren't out enjoying wine tasting or a hot air balloon ride, (within 10 minutes of the home) we spent time in this home's comfy living room and kitchen, all with views of the beautiful Temecula Valley. Watching the balloons rise each morning and the beautiful sunsets in the evening are memories none of us will forget.
The kitchen is stocked with all you could need to prepare meals. We didn't miss a single football game over the Thanksgiving weekend as they have every channel available on the DirectTV. The way the rooms are laid out allowed privacy and sound-proofing for people to sleep. We will be back again, hopefully soon!
We visited Temecula for my wife's 40th birthday and really enjoyed our stay at the house. The pros: House is absolutely beautiful. The price point is really fair since we had 8 people staying. The view from the pool was amazing and we spent a lot of time admiring it with some wine. The location is ideal as it's so close to the best wineries. Also, the property manager was always available when we called.
Cons: The house needs just basic maintenance. Small stuff only that a handyman could do quickly. The hot tub was not working, which was a downer we didn't discover till the day before.
Overall: I would absolutely stay again because of the quality of the home, the price, and location.
Fabulous house, we enjoyed every minute of our stay, the view is spectacular!
This was our family's second stay at Villa Serenita. So glad to have had the use of this wonderful property for more family memories. Everything 11 of us could want or need...great rooms, incredible views, infinity edge pool, perfect weather, and THE most accommodating manager. So hard to leave. If it ever goes on the market, I want to be first in line.
This house was absolutely amazing! The view was breathtaking and the pool was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook at the house and the extra pool towels were much appreciated. We did have a small problem with ants, however the concierge manager,Natalie, quickly got someone over to the house to spray. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat
I rented this fabulous home for a special 60th birthday celebration for my sister. She knew I had rented a home in Temecula but had not seen any pictures prior to our arrival. My sister travels a lot and has stayed in some very nice places so I really wanted to rent a home that would make her say “wow!” when she saw it.
Well, I can tell you this place definitely did that! Upon our arrival, she was literally walking around saying ‘wow’ in every room. The views from the home are breathtakingly beautiful. She summed it up by saying it was ‘over the top’. Mission accomplished! The other friends who joined us for the long weekend enjoyed golfing, trips to the casino or shopping in Old Town (we actually did a little wine tasting before we checked in to the house), but other than having her birthday dinner at a local restaurant, my sister did not leave the house for our entire stay!
Jennifer was great about quickly answering all of my emailed questions prior to check-in and a couple that I had after check-in. The home was well-stocked with everything anyone would need. All guests slept comfortably in their beds, and my sister remarked that the bed in the master bedroom was especially comfortable (she is not always easy to please in that regard).
We very much enjoyed watching the hot air balloons floating over the valley each morning we were there. The views from the backyard patio and pool area are stunning, but can also be enjoyed from inside the great room. Both the home itself and the surrounding grounds are very well-maintained.
The only thing I would warn about is with the location being fairly remote (and believe me, that is not a bad thing if you are trying to get away from the city), on Saturday night we were not able to find a pizza place that would deliver so we ended up going to pick up the food and bring it to the house. There may be some restaurants that do deliver, but if that is your plan, I would definitely call ahead and make sure first.
I look forward to returning to Villa Serenita!
A relatively new region by California winemaking standards, Temecula wine country is quickly catching on as a hot-ticket tourism destination in sunny Southern California. This bucolic stretch of Riverside is today home to more than 35 wineries and a popular food and wine festival that draws hundreds of curious oenophiles each year.
Wineries in Temecula have been quick to respond to the area's new popularity, with many boasting sprawling grounds and spacious tasting rooms. Wedding facilities are also common at wineries, as are live music venues, and seasonal events.
Visitors to Temecula and wine country can also indulge in balloon rides, golf and spa treatments or forage for treasures at the area's more than 600 antiques dealers. Another popular attraction, is the Pechanga Resort and Casino, the largest casino in the state of California, live performances, dancing, fine dining and golf.
