This area is such a quaint, family oriented place. Perfect for a quiet family getaway to the beach. Bike riding is a wonderful sport in this low density area and you can ride down to the Fort and take the Mobile Ferry over to Dauphin Island and visit that aquarium, Fort Gaines or just ride the wonderful bike paths on the island.

There is also a small store for items you may have forgotten at home.) Less than 7 miles away is Kiva Dunes, one of the nation?s top rated public golf courses. The Peninsula and other beautiful golf courses are also nearby. Historic Ft Morgan and the Mobile Bay Ferry are approximately 1 mile away. Boat launch and marina are across Fort Morgan Road. We used this home for a business retreat-style gathering. The central gathering space was great for our sessions; we all appreciated having our own quarters. Only issue is getting to food (if you are not going to cook.) A good 20-minute ride back into town, but we worked it out!
The house was great for our big family! Each family had a room which helped since we all have little kids. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed! The walk to the beach was super short and the pool is right across the street which was again great with our little kids! The house was clean and well taken care of! Thanks for a great stay, we enjoyed it and will definitely come back to this house when we visit Gulf Shores!
Blinds on front and rear doors need repair, mold on shower curtain Jack n Jill bathroom, 3rd floor tub stopped up with hair and master bath tub drained slow so used plunger to unclog, one chair on patio was broken, ice maker under bar did not work and from previous reports has not worked for a while, wifi does need a pass code, walls need touch up paint/repair, Friday night the a/c unit air handler leaked water to the 2nd floor bath and 1st floor bath-water came out of light fixture and part of ceiling fell down-previous repairs on air handler did not look professionally done which may be the reason for the failure. Called in the water leak on Friday night-left voice mail on 1st call and talked to someone on 2nd call; we had to leave the next morning. air vents had dust around them on ceilings and on walls. In spite of these items the family had a great time. The location is great - away from the hustle and bustle.
