Nestled on three acres of land with a panoramic view of the Catskill Mountain the Mountain Treasure Two-Bedroom Cottage is the ideal place to take in Mother Nature. A beautiful stream and an open space make this setting a truly magnificent place.

FULLY RENOVATED Dec 2021. This 2 level fully furnished cottage features, open living space and kitchen with a seating area and a wood-stove -great entertaining space, 2 bedrooms with cathedral ceiling and 2 bathrooms. Bedrooms are located on the upper level. The large master bedroom features 2 Queen Beds, the second bedroom features one Queen Bed. Also, there is a seating sofa in the living space on the main level.

High-speed internet wireless throughout the house; flat-screen TV; cable.
Large deck around the upper level of the house.
Gas grill and outdoor furniture available.

We do not take the security deposit but valid credit cards of all our guests must be presented in the time of booking as a security in the event of any damage. We have fully renovated the cottage in Dec 2021 ( new windows? New floor, new bathrooms, new stairs and railing, hallway, new kitchen with island, new appliances, new heaters etc.NEW open space kitchen and living room. All this for YOU to enjoy our new space and feel comfortable.

We provide towels, linens, toiletries, a fully equipped kitchen, and wood for the woodstove. There is no breakfast, food, or housekeeping provided during your stay.

Great stay

The cottage was lovely and comfortable. It is in a beautiful location on a stream. It was great proximity to Windham. The host was kind and great with communication.

Weekend ski trip

Cute cottage. Very clean with new appliances. Great communication with the hosts. Close to skiing. The driveway was cleared to get out skiing early, after a night of some fresh snow. There's a wood burning stove which Agnes had started upon our arrival.

Great guest house! updated, clean and has all that you need. Comfortable beds and bedding with plenty of space. Perfect location to ski in Hunter and Windham! Hosts were lovely! Great communication and super nice! Even started the fire an hour before we arrived from skiing. The home made angel wing cookies were delicious. We will definitely be back

I moved to the Windham area in 2012. I love the beauty of nature and being outdoors, love skiing and hiking, and hope you do too :-) I would love to meet my guests sometime during your stay. I am available in case you might have any questions or need help with hiking or activities, or anything else... but you always have your own privacy, own driveway, parking spot, own house with a separate outdoor space just for you. I am looking forward to having you!

We have 2 houses on 3 acres property so it's easy to reach us if you need anything. We live on the same property but in a separate house where we run a small bed and breakfast. Your cottage has its own driveway and a separate parking spot. You have your own outdoor space with a gas grill.
