About the property

3 bedroom 3 bath Home on 20 Pristine Vermont Acres

New farmhouse style home, beautifully crafted with pine trim and timbers throughout. It is equipped with three bedrooms, and three full baths, kitchen and living room with open timbers, dining room with a rustic timber ceiling, a sleeping loft overlooking the living room, and a great hangout/bar room on the ground floor.

There are four full size beds and one inflatable mattress in the house. On the third level is the Master Suite with a queen bed and its own bathroom. Also, located on the third level is a large loft that overlooks the Kitchen and Living rooms. This could be used for guest sleeping overflow or reading and enjoying the mountain views to the west. There is a full size bed on the second floor with a small sleeping loft that would appeal to a young Kid. Lastly, down on the ground level a newly built “double” full size bunk bed room with its own private bath. The House can easily handle party’s of 8-10 without ever feeling too confined.

Why Travis Lepley chose Tinmouth

I chose this property because of it's close proximity to the ski areas, but at the same time enjoying more of what Vermont has to offer year round and not just the crowded vacation areas,

What makes this cottage unique

The House was designed and built by my father, brother, and myself. The idea was to achieve a feeling of a rustic farmhouse nestled away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, yet be close enough to all the quaint attractions Vermont can offer.

Guests will love the open floor plan and stunning views of the westerly mountains. Throughout the home are custom touches that every one will enjoy.

A great place to stay for families or multiple couples!

We had a wonderful time staying at this house. It is spacious, tastefully decorated and the furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook some great meals. The wifi worked great but there is no cell phone coverage so if you need to make phone calls, buy a calling card and use the land line. We used a laptop with a HDMI cable to watch movies. Killington was 40 mins away but the drive is scenic and went fast.

The house sits on 20 acres of pristine Vermont land with cross access to 145 more acres. There are hiking, snow shoeing, and atv trails throughout the property. A picturesque trout stream delineates the western border of the property and smaller streams wind their way through the woods.

For the Skier/Snowboarder multiple resorts are just a short drive away. 30 minutes to the south is Bromley and another short 15 minutes puts you at the Stratton Base area. To the North you will find Pico (the closest) and Killington another 10 minutes up the road. If you head east from Wallingford to can easily hit Okemo or magic Mountain with in 45 minutes.

15 Miles to the south sits Manchester and it's famous designer outlets and the antique enthusiast will find plenty of stores along the way in the nearby surrounding areas

In both the winter and summer there will be plenty of fun and exciting things to do
