About Robin Corey
My dream was to build on this piece of family property. It has been in my family for many years . I have such fond memories of coming here as a child with my sisters and then bringing my family here. The cousins all have come here together for many summers. We still come together every year and the memories continue to build. The many grand children still run on the beach and go to each others cottage for snacks and meals. I cherish the gifts that summer brings when I am here. I especially love the laughter of the children. I live in Bangor and I come to this island as often as I can. I am so grateful to have my dream come true. I would like to offer this gift to you. Come and enjoy!

Why Robin Corey chose Bar Harbor
It is beautiful, quiet, peaceful and has a calming effect on the spirit. It is fun to play by the water and find things on the beach. The stars on the front deck are so bright they speak to the little kid in you.
What makes this Cottage unique
The stars are spectacular at night. The deer sleep on the front lawn. The star fish and sand dollars are all over the beach!

Great family vacation
The house was very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect: very quiet surroundings, a few steps from a beautiful beach, close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Deers came every night in front of the house! The best time of the day was the sunsets which were simply amazing.
Great property - Onsite Communication with owner difficult
This property served our extended family of eight well. Great kitchen, house is clean, easy to eat outdoors, etc. And the location was great - close to Acadia, near mini-golf and ice cream, easy to access other parts of the island. The beach is pretty with great sunsets. Two other houses owned by the same family are between this house and the beach, but beach access is easy.
There are two full bathrooms. One is on the first floor, while all of the bedrooms are on the second floor, which is a little awkward, if you are trying to have separate bathrooms between guests.
Our biggest issue was the onsite responsiveness of the owner. She greeted us when we checked in and we enjoyed getting to know her a bit, but then it was hard to reach her when we had issues. The WiFi didn't work when we arrived - we called and texted the owner multiple times, but no response. Thankfully, she was staying in another house on the property, so we were able to find her in person, but it took over a day to get this resolved. Later in the week, the grill needed more gas - again calls and texts were not answered. Again we went to find the owner, but she was not home. The person who answered the door told us where the gas was and said that he couldn't help, so we had to haul the full tank up the stairs to the deck to the grill - not easy! It was great that we could knock on the door of another property to try to find the owner, but I don't think we should have needed to do so, especially when we wanted to be out enjoying Acadia.
Overall, we had a great week. If we hadn't been able to resolve these issues in person, we would have been much more dissatisfied.
We had a great stay in this well-appointed house. The house was spacious and comfortable for our family of 7. The kitchen has everything you need. The view from the deck was very nice, especially since you can see the sunset even from inside. I was particularly happy with the very large washer and dryer and the abundant number for of bath towels. We all really enjoyed walking along the private beach and exploring the Ovens at low tide. The house was very close to Bar Harbor which made it easy for us to go out for dinner if we wanted to. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here in early June with 6 adults and 3 small children, and the property was perfect for our needs. The location is great, with easy drives to Bar Harbor and Acadia, and access to a semi-private rocky beach (shared with a few other houses). The open living/dining areas and big kitchen island were perfect for our large group, and the deck and beach were favorite gathering spots. Robin was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay.
Beautiful beach house close to Acadia and Bar Harbor!
Beautiful property! My family loved the house (especially the kitchen!), and the beach down the hill.
6 miles from the entrance to Acadia National Park. The walk across the beach out front is beautiful. If you walk around the corner you will see caves. The Ovens are the name of these caves. It is several caves on the beach only accessible at low tide. Pirates Cove miniature golf about 1mile away.
