couldn't have been better!

My husband, children and I enjoyed staying in your cozy log cabin! You really thought of everything and helped make our family vacation one that we won't soon forget. The kids didn't want to leave! Thank you for the sweet treats of fresh peaches and supplies for s'mores. The home is beautiful! Thank you again!!

This is the best place to stay in the Hudson Valley. The oweners have thought of everything. The home is decorated in such a charming way. The location is perfect because it is relaxing in the woods but also close to shopping and the NYS Thruway, RT 28 & RT 209. This is a very family friendly place to stay. The owners are friendly, helpful and attentive when and if you need them, otherwise it is extremely private and secluded.

Amazing place!

  • 5 of 5

We spent a night at the "cabin" and had a blast. It is a bona fide log cabin, but I wouldn't call it rustic - it's beautifully furnished, spotless and really comfortable. The front and back porches are great for relaxing and the yard is beautiful. We really enjoyed all the games and the "themed" bedrooms. Linda and Bob are fantastic hosts.

Beautiful home on a private, well-maintained lot

  • 5 of 5

Our group of 5 had a lovely stay for Memorial Day weekend. My two children (ages 5 and 2) enjoyed playing in the game room, making fires outside and running around and exploring on the grounds. There is a gate at the top of the stairs for their safety. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean and well-decorated. Kitchen had all of the amenities to cook a meal, and the hosts were generous to leave a bowl of fruit for us to enjoy during our stay. It truly felt like a home away from home, which is exactly what we wanted. Also- is nearby to many outdoor attractions. We were in town for a family event in Saugerties and had easy access to major roads and a large grocery store. It is clear that the owners take great pride in their cabin and we would certainly come again if our travels bring us to Kingston!

Clean, comfortable, homey

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at this property in the past and look forward to coming back again in the future. There were four of us staying at the log house this time and there was plenty of room for everyone. The owners are great hosts, they meet us when we arrive and ask if there is anything we need. It is a quiet country setting which made for great sleeping yet it is close enough to shopping and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing meals, there is even a grill on the back porch which we used. We enjoyed having family visit during the day. We played dominoes, and made puzzles. We love this home away from home.
