About Katy Meinbresse

Leif is a Montana native and Katy moved here from Tennessee 5 years ago when Leif refused to leave Big Sky Country.

Why Katy Meinbresse chose Montana

Leif first fell in love with Seeley 10 years ago while working for the Forest Service. He bought an acre as soon as he could and soon we were building a house!

Notes:
Large yard with fire pit, horseshoes and picnic table. Good cell phone service. Borders millions of acres of public lands. Snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and hiking from the backdoor! We want to be clear about the yard so that guests are not expecting a mowed, landscaped space - it is natural with wild grasses, wild flowers and pine trees. Great for kids, playing and cooking outside. It abuts public land with space for walking and viewing nature.

Wonderful home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this homey cabin with our family and friends. We loved how spacious it was to accommodate our group of 4 adults and 4 kids. Beautiful backyard view. Great front and back porches to sit and relax. Will definitely book again when in the area. The homeowners were helpful, quick to respond to any questions and very friendly. Wonderful home away from home!

Perfect winter get away

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was perfect for our long holiday weekend. It had everything we needed. Everything was clean, fully stocked with towels, dishes, and all the cooking utensils you'll need if you choose to stay in and cook. My son loved building a roaring fire in the stove. The directions given by Katy, the owner, were spot-on and the location was very easy to find. If you want to go to dinner, it's a three minute drive to the main highway. Seeley is a great town for outdoors activities in all seasons. We snowshoed on Seeley Lake and Salmon Lake. We were thankful there was no internet. It felt so good to unplug. Thank you Katy!!

Great place to spend Xmas

  • 4 of 5

This rental totally met our expectations. Had plate of fresh goodies waiting for us along w/a fully plowed driveway---that got done a second time after more snow. Was well equipped and the wood stove heated up the place more than adequately and the backup heat was very comfortable. Enjoyed meeting Leif's dad who stopped by to take some pictures of the place w/a fresh coating of snow. Nice time for 3 of us.
