Our family of 4 stayed in this great apartment. It had everything. We were more than comfortable..everyone was very pleased! The apartment were so nice. Showed us everything and answered questions for us. They made us feel like we belonged. The views were fantastic. We just sat and looked! We found grocery stores, boulangeries, restaurants, in all price ranges nearby. We also enjoyed sitting outside at tables to just people watch. We found so many places to walk to. We all enjoyed walking along the Seine and watching the many boats go by. Thank you for your lovely apartment and for making our family trip so very enjoyable. We hope to return next year!! Five stars!!
Very comfortable apartment in my favorite neighborhood close to all the action but on a quiet street. Having the ability to rent an apartment like this one in Paris eliminates the necessity of ever owning. Great place.
As this was our first experience with Home Away, I was a bit skeptical as to what the accommodations would be like. I was extremely happy with the apartment and would without a doubt stay at the same location again. The apartment was well appointed and had everything we needed and more. It was such a treat to spend the day enjoying all the sights of Paris and know we were coming back to our “home away from home” at the end of the day. If there was a rating system, this apartment would get a 5 out of 5 starts.
Upon arrival we found an immaculate and contemporary space with thoughtful design. Superb linens, kitchen features, and washer/dryer were a plus. We were very comfortable with ample room and privacy. We found it to be a very convenient location for shopping, dining, and museums. We will definitely book again!
This was my 10th trip to Paris so I knew the location was ideal. The apartment is lovely. Very modern and obviously professionally designed. Every inch was maximized. Incredible attention to detail. Great beds, linens, and towels. Great showers. One bath has sink, toilet, shower, and washer and dryer; master bath has sink and tub with rain shower. We used the washer and dryer and they were a breeze to use. Paul was delightful. Was waiting for us when we arrived. Gave detailed instructions on use of all appliances and heaters in apt. Brought us a bottle of wine which shockingly we never drank because we were out and about the entire time. Provided us with name and number of taxi service that specializes in English speaking users. We used them and they arrived promptly as scheduled at 7 am! Guide books provided. Wifi worked like a charm. Also provided with an Information binder (with info on apt, restaurants, grocery stores, emergency info, etc) that was incredibly inclusive - a travel mate has rentals in England and she took some notes of things to include for her renters! Very easy to work with owner and booking was a breeze. Prior to initial booking I telephoned owner and he returned call within an hour or two. Subsequently he was very responsive to emails with questions related to times of access, etc. This apt left me wanting for nothing.
My wife, adult daughter and I enjoyed 4 days in Paris. My daughter is a recent grad from college with an Art History degree. The apartments location was ideal to walk to multiple major museums. We also discovered that the neighborhood was an ideal place for a variety of good food venues. We were very pleased with the comfort, location and the amenities of the apartment. It was clean and very well maintained. The owner was very helpful in providing directions as was the individual who met us the first morning. We would stay there again without hesitation.
This was a perfect location! The immediate area has so much to offer ~ shops, restaurants, cafes, groceries, wine store, cheese shop, bakeries, etc. and is close to many attractions and sites. The photos and description provided are accurate. In addition, the apartment is well equipped and the owner adds lovely, welcoming touches. He promptly answers questions and offers many helpful ideas and suggestions. The owner was wonderful to work with from start to finish.

Within a stone's throw, you could visit museums as Le Louvre, Orsay, Delacroix, Maillol. In Saint Germain des Prés, you are in the area antique shops and galleries of painting. You are also in the district literary where large bookshops like La Hune or L’Ecume des Pages have pinion on street.

Saint-Germain, a central district steeped in history. Whether at midday or midnight, the streets of the Saint Germain district are always filled with life. You will love this district where good cheer prevails. Finding an apartment for short-term rental is the perfect way to get the most out of the area. An area that has inspired many artists Many artists have walked the streets of this neighborhood, many singers have sung its praises, and every street here has a million stories to tell. Rue des Canettes, popular with student youth for many centuries, is well known for its little bars and cafés where people drink up before moving on to the latest cellar bars playing jazz music. And although Saint Germain may have lost some of its village feel, many streets and passageways remain, such as Cour du Commerce Saint André, which has been around since 1735 and is home to Le Procope, the oldest café in France. A very strong cultural heritage History is with you every step of the way: as you walk down Rue de l’École de Médecine, you might be interested to know that you are walking on a former Gallo-Roman track. You can also see a large plaque erected in honor of Sarah Bernhardt in the place where a gate to the Couvent des Cordeliers stood, an establishment of which only the dining hall remains. Of the immense Abbaye Saint Germain des Prés, founded by the Merovingian king, Childebert I, only the church and its charming little square remain. This is extremely interesting as it dates back to the 11th and 12th centuries. The paintings in the nave and all around the chancel are the work of Hippolyte Flandrin, a student of Ingres. You can admire the neoclassical Odéon theater, built in the 18th century for the Théâtre Français, and which witnessed the student revolt of May 1968. The Palais du Luxembourg, your haven of greenery, isn't too far away. Transportation and amenities to make your trip easier Plenty of buses criss-cross the district and there are several metro stations not too far apart so that your visit won't be tiring. Whether you decide to sit down for a full meal or just a snack, you will find businesses open to satisfy your hunger.
