About Owner/Property Manager

We are a family who loves living in and experiencing Brooklyn, a vibrant part of Brooklyn, New York.

Born in New York, we have traveled extensively and we speak several languages, enough to have a fun conversation: English, Spanish, Italian and French. We recently finished renovating completely this apartment in one of the best neighborhoods in New York!

Come stay in our property! We'd love to share this beautiful brownstone with you.

You will have total privacy but we will be there to help with anything you need if you ask us.

We can't wait to meet you!

Why Owner/Property Manager chose Brooklyn

One of Brooklyn’s best neighborhoods, Park Slope offers an amazing array of meticulously renovated brownstone and limestone townhouses. This apartment vacation rental is located in the ground floor of a brownstone built in 1874, just a short walking distance from the beautiful Prospect Park. The 1890 census showed Park Slope to be the richest community in the United States.

What makes this apartment unique

Prime Park Slope location. Very convenient to public transportation and some of the best Brooklyn restaurants. Close to the BAM cultural center and the Barclay's arena.

This is a 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Very comfortable apartment, located in the ground floor of brownstone in the historical district of Park Slope.

Fantastic Stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time here. Clean, well appointed, fully renovated, great food and close grocery nearby. 7th ave subway was about a 5-7min walk - what else can you ask for? Don't hesitate to book if they have your dates available.

Better than expected

  • 5 of 5

We were very fortunate to have chosen this property! We were not familiar with New York so were somewhat apprehensive. Our daughter and family plan to visit next year. We are recommending she consider this very strongly.

We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and snacks. Unexpected! A short walk to a grocery store and the subway made everything convenient.

We can't add to the superlatives mentioned in other reviews but wholeheartedly agree!

Very pleasant property

  • 5 of 5

We were 3 adults and enjoyed very much staying in this property for one week. The description of the appartment matches very well the reality. It was very clean when we arrived and it was very quiet living there. The Park Slope area in which stands this flat is very nice with a lot of restaurants and supermarkets. It was also very easy to go to Manhattan with the proximity of several subway stations. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are functional. We also appreciated the welcoming of the owner. We will certainly come back in this appartment if we travel again in NYC

Home from home

This is a very belated review however i still wanted to get this in.

Myself & my father stayed at this apartment in Park Slope last September, travelling from the UK.

We stayed in Park Slope as we have family in Brooklyn and wanted to stay somewhere between Manhattan & family. It's about less than 10 min walk to the subway on Flatbush for the Q train direct into Times Square and is about 20-25 mins on train. One or two evenings we came back from the city pretty late on the subway and walk back & it was not a frightening place to be at night at all, feel very safe.

The neighbourhood was totally cute, I wish I could live there myself! We were opposite a cute little school & had cafes & shops whichever direction we went. Walking distance to Barclays centre (if you don't mind walking) or one subway stop (OMG Target!!).

Trying to remember places we went to nearby for food!

Cuban restaurant called Cubana Cafe on 6th Ave which was delicious.

The Bagel Market on 7th, lovely little cafe where we would get bagels and coffee every morning for like 6 dollars each.

Sports bar too called 200 5th which was great fun to experience Americans in a sports bar watching the game 😃

Check out Botanical gardens & Brooklyn park! Grand Army Plaza for photos.

Ok so enough about the surroundings, now the apartment itself! Omg absolutely perfect, clean!!!!, simple yet stylish, lovely bathrooms!!!, comfy beds, spacious yet cosy, nice furniture, only downside I would say was you could hear noise from the upstairs, it sounded like a repetitive knocking of some sort like a pipe or something but it wasn't as though it was early in morning or late at night & wasn't terribly loud & not all the time. May well have been a one off while we were there.

The owners were lovely & friendly (sorry for waking you up in the night on our arrival because we couldn't find the place) we got some good recommendations from the lady & even got some laundry done by a local laundrette who collected and delivered back (also recommend by the owners).

Oh and can't forget the bottle of wine they left for us when we arrived also. Thank you!

I am coming back to New York this year but staying in Manhattan this time but if I ever would be staying in Brooklyn I would stay here without a doubt.

Sorry for late review and to anyone considering staying here! Do it! You will love it!

Great Apartment in a Wonderful Neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

This is a really great apartment. It is clean and well-equipped with everything you need. It is in the heart of Park Slope and very close to many restaurants and shops. It's also very close to the subway so getting into Manhattan is very easy. We would absolutely recommend staying here.

Car: not necessary

If you’ve ever wondered where hip people go when they grow up, the answer lies in Brooklyn - Park Slope, to be exact. This idyllic yet unfailingly cool neighborhood, is considered one of New York City's most desirable neighborhoods. In 2010, it was ranked number one in New York by New York Magazine citing its quality public schools, dining, nightlife, shopping, access to public transit, green space, quality housing, safety, and creative capital, among other aspects.

It was named one of the 'Greatest Neighborhoods in America' by the American Planning Association in 2007, 'for its architectural and historical features and its diverse mix of residents and businesses, all of which are supported and preserved by its active and involved citizenry.'

In December 2006, Natural Home magazine named Park Slope one of America's ten best neighborhoods based on criteria including parks, green spaces and neighborhood gathering spaces; farmer’s markets and community gardens; public transportation and locally-owned businesses; and environmental and social policy

Park Slope features historic buildings, top-rated restaurants, bars, and shops, as well as proximity to Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, and the fact that it is so close to Manhattan.

Stroll through the brownstone-edged streets and it’s all too easy to see what drew the cool kids to these parts. Romanesque revival townhouses and Queen Anne-style homes fill the landmark historic district next to the lush expanse of Prospect Park.

The Brooklyn Museum holds court in all its Beaux-Arts glory, bringing culture and cutting-edge art to New York’s most populous borough. The Brooklyn Botanic Garden provides Mother Nature with a stage for her exquisite tricks, from the exuberant blooming of the cherry blossom trees during spring to the explosion of fiery leaves come autumn.

To meet the demands of its exacting population, Park Slope’s restaurant and bar scene is vibrant and varied. Locally sourced 'New American' fare is as easy to come by as Filipino dishes, and bartenders are well-versed in microbreweries, vintage bourbons and classic cocktails.

Since the mid-1990s younger, childless professionals who in previous decades would most likely have lived in Manhattan have been moving to the neighborhood in ever-increasing numbers. Gentrification has also overflowed. The influx of these new upper middle class residents have made Park Slope one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Brooklyn.

It is a big neighborhood, however the main streets are Fifth Avenue and Seventh Avenue. Many restaurants, bars, boutiques, shops with different amenities are abundant in these two main streets. One of the greatest advantages in Park Slope are the large quantities of Brownstone Houses that are in the neighborhood. The closer you get to Prospect Park West, the prettier Brownstones you see.

Whether you want to visit Park Slope, or move here, without a doubt, it is one of NYC’s best neighborhoods.
