FYI the place needs hand towels and washcloths.
Convenient to many ballparks. A mile from Mill Street, where you can find many fine restaurants and stores. Kitchen ware was a little sparse. The condo was very clean. Parking off of University was ample. The condo is on University which is a very busy street.
Comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, living and dining areas with great views of the mountains and ASU. Two beautiful porches. Unfortunately too cool while we were there to try the pool. A great stay.
Six of us (4 adults, 2 kids) visited family in AZ over Thanksgiving (2015) and this property was the perfect size for our party. The location is great if you don't mind walking at least a mile to Mill Ave (no problem for all of us). You can also rent bikes at the Tempe Transit Center (which we did) since the roads have bike lanes and there are ample biking paths around Tempe and environs. If you have a car, there's ample parking in front and a parking lot next to the building. The condo is on the 3rd floor and there's no elevator, FYI. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was good (important to me). Jason, the owner is very responsive too. A few things to be aware of: The condo overlooks West University Drive and traffic is loud - we got used to it but it was noticeable. The place could also use some TLC – dings in the walls (and some holes), master shower has a big rust stain from a hole in the wall where a shower head used to be at the top (there’s a working shower head below it), a missing light switch plate in the hallway next to the kitchen, a piece of wood had come off of the bottom stair leading up to the master. BUT, in spite of these things, we were very comfortable and we would rent it again. Really good experience. I highly recommend Culinary Dropout at The Yard on Farmer Ave for dinner and lunch. It was excellent. Harlow’s right next door was great for breakfast! Definitely hike Camelback Mountain if you can and there are some good dining options in Scottsdale, including Olive & Ivy, which we thought was great.
My first experience with VRBO was this unique property and with the ever gracious Jason. The condo is very close to ASU, Mill Ave and an easy driving distance to Scottsdale & Phoenix. Jason was awesome at recommending places to eat and visit. I graduated from ASU in the 90's so a lot has changed in the area since then! Since we came in Dec. we didnt use the pool or outside deck much but both looked inviting & clean. The interior of the condo is beautiful, furniture is comfy, & the kitchen has anything & everything you need to cook a wonderful meal. I cant say enough about the master bath-take the time to take a soak in the tub-bliss!!!!! Everything was very clean & Jason was fabulous with communicating with us. My husband & I came with my college age daughter, she loved seeing the campus. As much as we all loved happy hr on Mill Ave, we enjoyed cuddling up on the couch and watching a movie @ the condo too!! As an added bonus it actually snowed on our last day there (Dec. 30th) We will return again to enjoy this beautiful condo in a beautiful town. Go Sun Devils!! Thank you Jason!
We loved this sleek, ultra modern condo. It was close to ASU, great restaurants and shopping and owner Jason
was easily available during our arrival and stay. Less than a mile to Tempe's busy Mill Ave and 3 or 4 miles to Sky Harbor Airport so convenient for everything. The sun deck sofas and pool were both as pictured, with the pool conveniently at the bottom of stairs. And free parking and fast wifi! We'll stay here again when in Phoenix. Thnx Jason!
