Description

Photos and Description of this 1 bedroom holiday apartment in Plovdiv - Great cosy apartment in Plovdi

This is a sunny one bedroom apartment located in the town Plovdiv. It is ideally positioned for visits to the city centre (well connected to local transportation) and to any other destinations around Plovdiv (easy access to major roads).

The Space

The apartment is perfect for a short or a long stay. It is ideally located for both visiting the town (on foot or by transportation) or driving around (it's close to major roads). The apartment itself is newly renovated.

Living Room

The living room is large and is one open space with the dining room, which is adjacent to the kitchen. It is East facing so it gets a lot of sun most of the day. It is on the 11th floor so you get some good views from the surrounding building and some woods and fields in the nature nearby. It has a balcony as well. The sofa doubles as a pull-out bed. Simply take off the back to open it in depth. It sleeps one.

Bedroom

The bedroom has a large angle sofa which extends to a queen sized bed. Simply pull out the seat to create the bed. It sleeps two. There are linens, pillows, covers, etc. under the bed and some more in the wardrobe in the corridor.

Bathroom and Toilet

The bathroom is equipped with a standing shower (no bath tub). Simply pull the shower curtain around you to close out the area while showering. There is a single WC in the apartment which is also located in the bathroom. There are towels in the wardrobe in the corridor.

Kitchen

The apartment features a fully equipped kitchen. There is an electrical stove/oven as well as a microwave. Dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, cooking and eating utensils are of course available to guests. There is a tall full size fridge/freezer. There are microwave and coffee/espresso maker (and coffee). The washing machine is also located in the kitchen.

Where to Go and What to See

Make sure you take a stroll down the main strain in the town’s center, check out the Old Town and the Roman Theater located in it.

What and Where to Eat

Bulgarian cuisine is amazing. There are many restaurants in the city center and in the old town. There are a few great ones in walking distance in the neighborhood – one across the street and one just around the corner. You also have an excellent farmer’s market with fresh organic food right outside your building. We will provide you with a map of some good locations.

Getting around

By taxi – the ride between the central station and the center of the town to your address should be around 6-8 BGN (that’s about $5USD). You can always hail a cab on the street, that’s a common practice in Bulgaria. The ride to the center or the station takes about 6 minutes.

By bus – there are several bus lines that stop right outside the building and that will take you to the center and any other point in the town. The tickets are 1BGN and can be purchased from a person on the bus. The ride to the center or the central station is about 15 minutes.

By shuttle – there are few shuttles operating alongside buses. These are smaller but quicker than buses and cost the same as a bus ticket. There are many lines that go to different parts of the town, best is to hail one and ask if it goes to your destination.
