Our condo is situated centrally on Providenciales with fantastic views of the entire north shore. The view is simply breathtaking! You are just a short stroll down to the best beach and snorkeling on the Island. The condo offers a great location in Turtle Cove just outside one of the major tourist areas of Grace Bay, however, a 5 min drive will get you there quick enough to peruse the shops or to just relax on one of the patios.
Turtle cove is the start of a seven mile stretch of Grace Bay Beach which makes for nice walks. I like to stop for lunch at 'SOMEWHERE..CAFE AND LOUNGE,' right on the beach before heading back. La Vista Azul is a quiet, safe, and friendly neighborhood, right in Turtle Cove, the condo is adjacent to Turtle Cove Yacht Club home to multi-million dollar fishing vessels, yachts, and sailboats. You can walk to any one of the five great restaurants, from Bar and Grill to Fine Dining. Or... just grab a fishing charter here and catch your own dinner. It`s all right here; water skiing, diving, sunset boat cruises, Snuba, Scuba and snorkling excursions, jeep, scooter and bike rentals.
Our condo complex offers great amenities such as two pools with large sundecks, one being heated, one Jacuzzi, and fitness centre. The condo has travertine floor tiles, GE profile stainless steel appliances, Custom wood cabinetry, granite countertops, central air-conditioning & ceiling fans. Washer/dryer and built in safe. Sliding glass terrace doors, smoke detectors throughout, sprinkler system, 9' ceiling height generally throughout, free WIFI, TV, 2 Queen beds. Nightime security guard for extra safety.

My name is Karsten Doose, my family and I live in a wonderful town called Port Perry which is located in Ontario Canada. I currently own and operate my own Financial Planning business in town. My wife Annette is a professor at a nearby college, Sir Sanford Fleming. We have two great kids Kristian and Olivia who were born, raised and go to school in Port Perry. Port Perry is a lovely historical town with much heritage that overlooks Lake Scugog. We love to travel as a family and like to experience different cultures and places, which brought us to our hidden treasure Turtle Cove.
Karsten and Annette Doose purchased this condo in 2014
Since we live in Canada the winters can sometimes be too long, so we travel south to escape the bitter cold. Turks and Caicos was a place we visited and immediately fell in love with, we are now grateful to call this place home. We like to call it our hidden treasure because of its prestine deserted beaches, turquoise water, and soft white sand. The Island also boasts great climate all year round with over 300 days of sunshine. The ocean is between 80 and 85 degrees all year long which makes for good swimming and snorkelling. The property is centrally located and is close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping.
Condo comes with central air for comfortable sleeping. Large one bedroom 1027sq.ft, sleeps 4, with 2 new queen beds, new linens, and towels. Panaramic ocean views from an oversized balcony with modern wicker furniture. Condo also boasts travertine tiles through out, full kitchen with marble counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Two large pools and outside jacuzzi with palm trees and tropical vegetation amongst the pool area and courtyard.
We knew we would love this property and location, but it was even better than expected!
The property was very clean, in a great location and had stress-free access to the room and easy access to taxis and the ocean.
We didn't rent a car, but didn't need to. We were within walking distance of some amazing beaches and snorkeling. Although we didn't need to use them, they also had snorkel gear, body boards and other beach toys for us to borrow free of charge (all to ourselves).
We ended up using the patio quite a bit in the morning and evening hours and saw some pretty amazing sunrises and sunsets. The property also has 2 pools and a hot tub which we used quite a bit. Everything was very clean and well kept on the property.
The property has a very friendly office staff that called us taxis to take us to the local grocery store ($20 - $30) and the airport ($30). On site is also a restaurant called Simone's which has some pretty good food with comparable prices to anywhere else on Provo ($50 - $70 for 2 people with drinks).
Here's some activity info I wish someone would have shared with me:
We took a 1/2 day snorkel tour with Island Vibes which was AMAZING and we would say it is a MUST DO for anyone staying in Provo. There were people of all ages (5 - 65) on the tour, so it really is for everyone. We spent about 45 minutes on iguana island, 20 minutes at the shipwreck, 40 minutes snorkeling and 15 minutes swimming / jumping of the diving board / slide. This cost $100 per person (with taxes) and picked up from Children's Park (30 minute walk).
After the snorkel tour we went parasailing with Captain Marvin's. This was an amazing experience and IMO well worth the $85.85 per person (with taxes) we paid. They also pickup from Children's Park (30 minute walk). Actual fly time was exactly 12 minutes. They will also take tons of pictures of you with a very nice camera for an additional $40.
We took a "75 Minute" horseback ride on the beach with Caicos Corral which I can tell you was exactly 45 minutes of actually riding time because I took video of the whole thing. This was pretty amazing, but I would have liked a longer ride for the money. This was $141.40 per person (with taxes). They picked us up at the condo property.
Thank you Karsten and Annette! We loved your place and our first trip to Caicos!
The condo was perfect - clean, tasteful, nice kitchen and bathroom. LOVED the patio with its great view. 2 pools (one heated), hot tub, etc., it was great.Thank you for the snorkeling gear and beach supplies in the closet. Short walk to THE place to snorkel on the island, Tiki Hut, etc.
We had a great time and I would highly recommend Karsten and Annette's condo.
I can't say enough about this place. It was clean, well located & just the right size. The view from the patio was incredible. We loved sitting out there enjoying the sunsets & sunrises. Karsten was very helpful (even if by phone!). We especially loved our gelato treat @ the end of the day. We will definitely be going back. That trip can't come soon enough!
This condo unit far exceeded my expectations. I couldn't imagine a more equipped accommodation. Gorgeous balcony. Unbelievably clean. Well Done.
Great location near Turtle Cove! Short walk to what ended up being practically our own beach.
The condo itself is extremely well kept and both beds very comfortable! Your hosts are quick to respond and are very willing to help out in any way possible. I look forward to staying here again!
This was our first visit to Provo and it exceeded our expectations. We loved staying at this unit in La Vista Azul: it is convenient, the condo is spacious for us as a couple, the decorations are tasteful and peaceful. Everything about the condo was exactly as advertised. The condo and the grounds are neat and tidy, pleasant to walk through. There is a massage therapist right in the downstairs of the building--no need to drive to a spa:)
The pools are delightful, just above the unit. The view from the pool area is stunning. We walked to the beach to snorkel almost every day and it is lovely in the evening, as well. It is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen and I have been to many.
We snorkeled Smith's reef all the way from end to end as well as the Lower Bight. The reefs are live with fish. We even saw a turtle.
Turtle Cove is a short walk away where Green Beans coffee, salads, smoothies and friendly people make morning through late afternoon better. Tiki bar has a nice outside eating area. We walked to Turtle Provo Divers for SCUBA.
We really enjoyed our stay and would come back again. In fact, I wish I could be there right now!
Centrally located Smith Reef is the start of a 7mile stretch of Grace Bay beach. A short walk from our condo will get you to the most private and exclusive beach and coral reef on the Island. See beautiful coral and a wide range of fish species, sea turtles and Baracudda. Grace bay has a sandy white beach and magnificient turquoise waters, a great way to relax and spend the day. If your lucky you may be able to swim with JOJO an Atlantic bottlenose dolphin who has been cruising the waters of Grace Bay beach for over 20yrs. Some of the other attractions that may interest you is Sapodilla hill which overlooks the turquiose caicos banks, a foot path to the summit leads up from a long driveway to the defunct Mariner Inn. The attraction in addition to the views, is numerous carvings dating back to the 1650's made by ship wrecked sailors, or as is the more common story, wreckers, waiting for their quarry. Rock Iguanas are popular on Little Water Cay which is part of the Princess Alexandra National Land & Marine Park. It is a three minute boat ride, or a bit longer by kayak, from the docks of Leeward. For just $5.00/person you can observe these rare miniature dragons. Star Gazing at night is simply spectacular; as there is so little light pollution the stars and planets really stand out. Take a moment or an hour to relax in a chaise lounge and gaze upward and watch the show. For the more active minded there is no shortage of water and land activities to enjoy. Provo Golf is celebrating 20+ years on Grace Bay. This is an 18 hole (par 72) championship course. There is horse back riding on either side of the island. Caicos Corral is just down the street from the condo and Provo ponies on Long Bay beach. Enjoy a morning or afternoon ride at either location. There are many things to do such as Parasailing, Kite boarding, Helicopter tours, Jet skiing, sailing excursions, powerboat tours, undersea exporer, and luxury cruising.

Due to the high costs of utilities on the Island, airconditioning will be set 78 degrees. Please note this will seem cool compared to outside temperatures and comfortable during your stay. We ask to help conserve energy and keep the doors closed while air conditioning is running.
