Apartment in Marbella, Costa del Sol, Spain - Peaceful Location, 2 Minutes Walk

This apartment is extremely luxurious, with a huge roof terrace overlooking the sea.. You can see as far as Gibraltar and the tip of Africa on a clear day. I sit on the terrace every morning and it still lifts my day.

Everything is top quality - Miele fridge, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, the marble tiles, the double basin bathroom. Because it's a home not just a rental investment, although I've aimed to keep it simple, it is a cosy apartment as well as functional. Flowers on the balcony, bedside table clock - that sort of thing.

There is a large sofa in the sitting room which opens out in to a double bed and happily sleeps two so four of you could share the apartment comfortably.

The apartment is one below the penthouse, right at the top of the block. There is a private swimming pool and a secure parking space below the building. The beach is 3 minutes 5 seconds walk from the front door (carefully timed!) and there are no fewer than 7 restaurants and 8 bars within a five minute walk.

There are 4 supermarkets of various qualities also within 5 minutes walk.

Hi, I'm Alex and I live and work in London for the majority of the year. I bought my Marbella apartment as I felt the need to escape the British winter. I'm sure you understand! I love my apartment and have furnished as a home, rather than just a rental investment, so I hope you enjoy that feel. Why Alex Jose chose West Costa del Sol

I bought this apartment because: It's new, clean, everything works (!), the view is fantastic, it's really large for a one bed, the terrace is massive and despite being in the centre of town, it's really quiet. You can easily walk to many bars and restaurants. An aspect I love is the shutters. You can bring down the shutters and the apartment is totally dark, whatever the time of day. So if you do need that Spanish siesta, you can sleep soundly. It is in a Spanish block and surrounded by Spanish blocks so there aren't many tourists immediately around. I bought in the area because: It's not typically Costa del Sol - it's much more upmarket than a number of the towns along the coast. Marbella is a micro-climate so it's shielded from the wild and benefits from the sun all year

What makes this apartment unique

I enjoy the pool at the Senator Spa Hotel! There is a fantastic pool and two jacuzzi which you can enter through the building, rather than having to walk around. Just jump in my lift and then across to theirs. There is a 360 degree view of Marbella and you can get drinks delivered to your sun bed in the summer. I have two Senator towels in the hall cupboard so you'll feel at home.

  • Description of sleeping capacity: Sleeps 4 (1 Bedroom) Notes on bedrooms: The main bedroom is large, with a king sized double bed, fitted wardrobes, two bedside tables and an 8 drawer chest of drawers. There is a lot of storage. The sitting room has a large double sofa bed (see pictures) with storage inside the bed.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is clean, modern and high quality. It is a home not just a rental investment so has character and warmth. Outside: The building is surrounded by gardens. There is a swimming pool on the ground floor (again lift access to pool level) with sun beds, a bar etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property is cleaned once a week and towels and linen are included in the rental. Other: The terrace is really large. There are two areas to sit out in the terrace - one side for relaxing and the other side has another dining table and chairs for outside dining.

Alex was a great, caring host, perfect communication. I have spent 3 weeks in her apparment which is in a very good location, close to everything. Comfortable bed, nice little kitchen, nice bathroom, didn´t miss anything at all. The pictures are accurate, the view was fantastic. I would come back without hesitation.

Fantastic appartment

We've had a fantastic stay this last week, the apartment is just as its shown on the pictures, with a beautifull terrace with incredible view and just two minute walk from the beach, very well situated!!!

3 minutes maximum to the beach on foot

There is a 'paseo' i.e. a walk way which runs along the beach and it very well looked after and good for running or walking along. 40 minutes walk to Puerto Banus from my apartment.

The beaches are beautiful, clean, sand beaches. There are sun beds to rent.


40 minutes drive from Malaga airport. Car hire would be useful but not necessary.

If you do not wish to drive, there is a good bus service from Malaga airport - I have the timetable should you need it.


The apartment is in the centre of Marbella. Restaurants, bars, shops, cafes less than 5 minutes walk.

Further Details:

Marbella is on the beach, with a beautiful promenade the whole way along. There are bars, restaurants and shops every few yards.

If you want time out of the town, there are mountains behind Marbella with wonderful view walks, organised by the tourist office. There are many biking trails - mountain biking and road biking and Tarifa, 1hr 15 minutes away is the kite surfing capital of Europe.

Closer to home, the block you will be staying in overlooks the Gran Melia hotel, which has tennis courts you can rent out. There are tennis racquets and balls in the apartment you can use.
