Incredibly lanscaped all newly remodeled and furnished waterfront home

Look no More! This incredibly laid out and meticulously and beautifully Landscaped, all newly updated, waterfront, 2200 Sqft ground level, 3 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom Home with garage just a couple hundred feet from the open ocean is all you could ever hope for.

Fantastic Kitchen with Granite counters and new stainless steel appliances. All brand new (mostly) Tommy Bahama furniture inside. The exterior Patio and concrete walkways is set-up with an all new Panama Jack fully cushioned large sectional and two person swinging loveseat facing the open ocean at the edge of the seawall. The incredible full property length concrete seawall with step down to boat and or water has the room for multiple boats and all the water toys you would need. The seawall has a 10ft fiberglass diving board for great swimming in the deep water lagoon (not your typical canal) only 50 yards or so from the open ocean. Kayaks and paddle boards easily rented and dropped off at your dock upon request by the week and or the month.

The Living room with its all new wood beamed cathedral ceiling is open to kitchen with two sets of all glass french doors opening to the patio and facing the water. This room has a 55" 4K HD curved screen LED TV and a fireplace to take the chill off in the cooler winter months if necessary. The incredibly comfortable sofa is also a pull out bed. Ceiling fans with lights as well as gorgeous Iron Troy pendant style lighting fixtures with decorative matching and separately switched wall sconce lighting all with dimming capability make this room an incredible place to relax and or entertain morning noon or evening!

The kitchen is all Granite with mostly new Stainless Steel Appliances including microwave and a great big new Refer with Ice maker. (second refer in the garage for added storage if necessary) The Kitchen lighting is an all new In-Tech dropped rail and stem mounted over the counter system with low voltage heads with pendants above the penisula and sink area all adding to the style and elegance this home away from home truly offers. There are 4 stools at the penisula and just to the left a glass top dining room table with room for 4 more.

Bedroom number 1, is a beautiful shade of light blue and has been arranged with all new gorgeous white wood furniture. It has two twin sized beds on opposite sides of the room and a great key westy colored all tiled bathroom with full sink vanity, toilet and shower/tub. This room has a ceiling fan, a great closet, all new furniture and more of the great cathedral ceilings that make this home that much more beautiful. This room has a wall mounted 48" LED HD TV above the large bureau. A great room for kids and or adults for sure.

The Beautifully decorated Master Bedroom also is designed with stained wood beamed ceilings and is equipped with a private all glass set of french doors to the exterior patio. It is fully furnished with its all new incredibly stunning king sized bed and matching over sized Bureau and wall mounted mirror above. It has a great contoured wooden chaisse lounge wiith stool as well as an electric LED tru-flame fireplace with a wall mounted 50" LED HD TV mounted above. This room is also equipped with a ceiling fan and great table lamps at each side of the bed on the night stands. The master bedroom BOASTS a huge room size closet with more than enough room to hold all you would ever need. This closet entrance is just inside the master bath entrance to the right where to the left you will find a two sink granite vanity and pocket door for a fully separated room where you'll find full sized tub with shower and toilet. An incredible room with plenty of open space.

Bedroom 3 is found by walking left after you enter the home thru the front door. You travel thru the living room past the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen pantry and storage closet is to your left and the rear hall with entrance to the garage and laundry room area is where you end up immediately past the kitchen refer. The hall here opens to a small sitting area where you can put on your shoes and or turn right and do the laundry. Turn left and enter the step down garage typically used mostly for storage. Walk past the laudry room and immediatley to your right is Bath 3. This is a 3/4 bath with a sink toilet and stand up shower. White Bead board and tile and a pedastal sink make this another great room and perfectly placed for the private back bedroom with Queen size bed. This room steps down even with the exterior patio and also has a full glass set of french doors matching the master bedroom and living room and bring you as well to the exterior patio. This like the other bedrooms is wonderfully decorated and equipped with a great Tommy Bahama Bedroom set. There is a roof over the entrance from the patio which makes this room unique like the others. This room has stained wood beamed ceilings like the rest and its position within the house adds to the very unique design and incredible flow this house has.

The yard is simply incredible with lots of solar lighting and some really great trees and plants with fruit trees on their way as well. Grape Fruit and Key Lime soon to be planted. All types of flowers and palm trees with mulch beds and walkways make the lot the best looking for miles. The yard is maintained and is equipped with a full underground and zoned irrigation system to keep things as green as possible. The patio has a gas grill and the furniture can be arranged in many ways as it is a multi piece sectional where as you may slide it all together and or arrange in a away where as folks can sit across from one another. The winds and breezes are just enough and being just slightly in from the open ocean allow eating outside without worry of things blowing away they way they do when directly on the open ocean. The tributary or canal is a deep water, very wide and has a great lagoon at the end. Swimming, fishing, lobsters, crabs, sail boarding, kayaking, paddle boarding, diving and all you can think about all right here at your back door. The open ocean to the right is only feet away. The sunsets are great and the yard with it's jungle style landscaping is private and extermely peaceful.

The property is located at mile marker 15 off Route 1. We are a couple hours out of MIami and only 9 miles from Mallory Square off Duval St at the far end of Old Town Key West where the crusie ships pull in. We are then about 5 or 6 miles before or after the Stock Island Bridge at the Key West Country Club. We are just outside of all the excitement where you can find peace and sanctuary at the end of a day or night in the heart Old Town Key West or a day of fishing or a million other things. Always something going on here! There are fantastic places to eat at the entrance to our subdivision and North and or South toward Old Town. The restaurants North and or South of home here are of all types and hours of operation. The food is fantastic including some really unique places you are welcome to inquire about.

Bay Point is perfectly situated and extremely quiet with many friendly folks and a small market as well as FISH Restaurant and Babys Coffee (Best Coffee in Key West) all within a a 5 minute walk out the front door of your home away from home. These are all at the entrance to our sub-division and we have a great park we all share as owners in Bay Point including tennis courts, swings, and a childrens playground.

With several other rental and vacation rental properties including Costa Rica and Hampton Beach NH as well as our hometown area we have continued to add to our portfolio including this home here.

Once we saw this home, its incredible potential and its location to every thing Key West as well as its lot and the deep water and spotless canal and lagoon it sat on it became our intent to purchase what ever it took. Although the home was built in 1958 it has been meticulously updated inside and out and easy to understand why this was the first home built in the subdivision.

This lot and property is simply incredible and we believe with the furnishings and design as well as the décor that we have put together it is an incredibly wonderful property.

The lot the landscaping and the home itself as well as the location. Central AC, a garage all updated with top of the line furniture and an incredible layout make this home what it is. Perfect!

Sarah and I would like to thank you both for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home in Key West. We had a great time and hope to be coming back soon. We had another couple with us, and none of us wanted to come back home. Everything was perfect. My son had a great wedding. There were 44 people who made the trip down for the wedding. We all fell in love with the Key West lifestyle. All of the restaurants were great. We really liked Mangrove Mamas and Blue Heaven. Duval St. was very interesting and fun. We got to go on a sunset cruise and had a ball. But the main thing we loved was your property. We started each morning out by the canal with our coffee from Baby's. The fish in the canal were great. We even had a small barracuda that hung around. Sarah even named your iguanas. The diving board was a hit. We met Tom working in your yard, and complimented him on how well landscaped the property was. Again, we thank you for having us as your guests. It was the best vacation ever!

  • Bedroom 1 is on your right as you enter the home via the front door. It has two twin beds and a large dresser and center night stand. It has a large closet and its own full private tiled bathroom with large vanity, toilet and tub / shower. Cathedral wood beamed ceilings and window treatments with ceiling fan and light as well as lamps. Large wall mounted 48" 4K HD LED TV with remotes. Bedroom 2 is as well extremely private with a set of French Doors to the exterior patio with roof over outside bedroom sitting area.. Private entrance thru kitchen and right. Down hallway by laundry room just past 3/4 bath and you are there. Great Tommy Bahama all new furniture. The Master Bedroom has a private set of French doors to the exterior patio as well as a huge walk in closet. The HD TV is mounted above a great Fire Place and the added furniture including a fantastic wooden chaise lounge and foot stool make this room incredibly comfortable and very unique for a Master or any bedroom.

Great Place

This property is very well landscaped, clean and with ample space for any family wanting some time in the keys. The three bedrooms provided considerable space and was adequate for me, my wife, two oldest sons and three grand girls. We found the location great as it was north of Key West and south of Marathon which gave us a whole bunch of options as we explored the area.

Plenty of eating places throughout the area. I would especially recommend going to Geiger Key for a local food experience that has its own class and gets you right into the keys life style. Mangroove MaMa's, also, has its own ambiance. Good food and service in both places.

The lagoon adjacent to the house was completely appropriate for swimming, fishing and much fun. Use the kayak or anything you desire to lay around or just do nothing if you want.

Boat rentals are available in the area should you want to explore the Atlantic or the Gulf by water. We found that a big plus and took advantage with a four day rental.

The owner, Don is easy to work with and communicates very well to make sure your experience is positive. He keeps the property in tip top condition and he has everything you could ever need within easy reach throughout.

Cable, wifi and upgraded electronics made for a comfortable stay for all of us during our time there.

I highly recommend this property and the owner to anyone wanting to explore and enjoy what the Florida Keys has to offer. The landscaping is so outstanding that it looks like it is right out of a Corona Beer ad, which is a real big positive to me.

Beautiful home and location for a family vacation

My fiance and I live up in the New England area and wanted to have an month long vacation and found a great deal.

Gorgeous ranch home in the Florida keys. The landscaping is off the charts. It felt like paradise. Nestled back in an ocean cove that had tons of wildlife and it was like you had your own pool at the property yet it was the ocean.

The home had a very spacious lay out and the main bedrooms have walk out patio doors to the backyard and ocean. Very private bedrooms as well as there were 3 showers/baths if you have multiple couples staying there.

It was approximately near mile marker 15. Very easy drive to downtown Key West if you want to go the tourist route. If not, plenty of local restaurants within a few miles.

If you want to relax and unwind this is definitely a great place to do it. I will definitely stay here again.

Don and Denise are so responsive to any question or concern. This home has been meticulously updated. You can see the pride of ownership from the moment you step out of your car onto the graveled drive. The landscape is absolutely beautiful especially in the backyard. My husband and I sat for hours enjoying Bloody Mary's, watching the lizards and the beauty of the back yard. I fished and sat on the step going into the canal many times during the day. The inside has the feel of the tropics, the owner used Tommy Bahama decor throughout. I kept looking and spying different textures and elements that I have not seen in many of the VRBO's that we have rented, it's lovely. In the garage you will find fishing poles, buckets and shrimp buckets and bicycles. Don and Denise have thought of everything to make your visit a perfect one.

Owner's Response: Thanks Tammy! The bicycles are actually works in progress including a bike built for two and the 20 speed. You still are better off calling in for bikes thru one of the many bicycle renting companies who will drop off at the front door and pick up when you are done. Denise and I are super happy all worked out well for you and that you had a great time! We will see you in March 2019 Tammy!

So Much to do and too much to list. All available on-line with access to many beaches along Route 1 North and South of Mile Marker 15 including Bahia Honda Beach, Annes Beach, Dog Beach, Geiger Beach and countless others.

Fantastic Public Transportation with Regular Bus schedule North to and or from Marathon and or South right into the heart of Key West. Starts at 6AM and with the last Bus back to Bay Point at 10:30 at night. Bus runs all day back and forth! Taxis always available.

Kayak rentals, jet skis as well as boats and paddle boards or wind surfers can be dropped direct at the house from right down the street at Stock Island for the day the week or the month.

Museum tours from the Mel Fisher Museum Tour to the Ernest Hemmingway home and more. Always something going on in Key West and you get to come home to all the peace and quiet the village of Bay Point offers at the end of a busy day.

Dinner at home and or up the street at Mangrove Mamas for some incredible food and drink. Italian food, Chinese Food, Cuban Food and dance, Sushi, Sea Food, Pizza Delivery and so much more. You will not go hungry.

All types of fishing. Pier, Bridge, Deep Sea all day and or half a day. Tarpon, Sail Fish and so much more. Scuba and Snorkel. Incredible Sunsets while eating the best Stone Crab ever. 9 miles from home are 2 Publix and 1 Winn Dixie Super Market with a KMart, Sears, TJ Max, and many many more.

Always a road race be it a 5K and or half marathon with folks from all over participating. Boating tours and whale watching as well as ferry service to Fort Meyers and other areas.

Great Golfing a few minutes away and another superb course further North in Key Largo.
