About the apartment:

This beautiful 150sqm apartment, in a classic Haussmanian building is your perfect home away from home during your visit to Paris. With beautiful wood flooring and large French windows throughout, you are sure to feel comfortable and cozy in this flat.

Upon entering, you are greeted with a grand entryway. From here you have access to the living room with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. There are two small balconies off of the living room for you to enjoy the sights and sounds of Parisian life below. The living room has two comfortable sofas and a coffee table, as well as a decorative fireplace and a flat screen television with cable. One of the sofas can be converted into a bed to sleep a 7th guest if necessary. The apartment also has a free Wi-Fi Internet connection.

The large and luxurious Master bedroom is also situated off of the entryway. Here you have a queen size bed with a comfortable mattress. The bedroom looks on to the inside courtyard so you are sure to have a quiet night’s sleep. The bedroom also has a large desk for those who need to do a little work during their stay in Paris. There is a dresser and shelving units for you to store your personal items during your stay. The Master bedroom also has a private en-suite bathroom with a stand up shower. There is a separate water closet off of the entryway with a toilet and hand sink.

The other two bedrooms are accessible off of the living room. The second bedroom has a large double bed with two night tables, a dresser and closet. The third bedroom contains two single beds and night tables, as well as plenty of shelving and storage space so that you can unpack your belongings and feel at ease. Both bedrooms look on to the street and have large windows where you can step outside and admire the city lights. All bedding, sheets and pillows are provided and you will find the beds neatly made on arrival.

The second bathroom is accessible from the entryway and has a combination bathtub/shower, toilet, double sink and hairdryer. Complementary toilet rolls, shampoos, shower gels and hand soap will be provided to start off your stay. Luxurious bath towels are provided for 4 people.

Through the back hallway you will find a large fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities of home. There is a washing machine and clothes dryer, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, teakettle and coffee maker. All pots, pans, crockery and utensils are provided so that you can prepare meals in the comfort of your own home and benefit from the fresh produce sold at the nearby markets. There is a breakfast table with 6 chairs where you can enjoy a morning croissant or pain au chocolat from the boulangerie located directly across the street. Just off of the kitchen you will find the elegant dining room with a large table to enjoy your homemade meals.

The apartment is heated throughout during the winter months. There is no air conditioning but we will be happy to provide you with fans for your stay should warm temperatures be in the Paris weather forecast. A member of our Welcoming Team will meet you upon arrival, give you the keys and entry codes, a tour of the apartment and its appliances, help you to connect to the Wi-Fi and more. You’ll have access to a personal guidebook with suggestions on where to eat and shop in Paris as well as things to do in Saint Germain des Pres.

About the 6th Arrondissement location:

Located on vibrant shopping street of Rue de Rennes in the Saint Germain area, near Montparnasse and the beautiful Saint Sulpice Church, this flat could not have a better location. This famous Left Bank neighbourhood, known as the “Rive Gauche” to Parisians, has been a long time-favourite of intellectuals and artists. It boasts a huge array of restaurants, bistros, cafés, ice cream parlours, florists, artisan chocolatiers, art galleries and much more! Be sure to make a stop at Le Bon Marché during your stay in the 6th Arrondissement.

Within walking distance of the apartment are the must-see Luxembourg Gardens, perfect for a morning jog, afternoon picnic or sunset stroll. The River Seine is also within walking distance so you can go to the Louvre or Notre Dame easily on foot. You will also enjoy going for a Seine River Cruise. The Latin Quarter is a stone’s throw away with sights such as La Sorbonne and the Pantheon. Walk over to Le Marais district for shopping and dining on Sunday while the rest of the city is at rest.

With its close proximity to two Paris Metro stations, Saint Sulpice (Line 4) and Rennes (Line 12), accessing other areas of the capital is extremely easy. Just hop on the Metro to reach the Eiffel Towel, Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe, Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur and more! The Métro also gives an easy link to the RER B train that takes you directly to Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airports. With the RER C train, you can travel to the Château de Versailles, and with the RER A, to Disneyland Paris.

Overall, the apartment was perfect for our group and pretty much delivered as described. The location is fabulous and David and other rental staff very responsive and helpful. I would certainly recommend the apartment to others. It's an old building, of course, and does need a little cosmetic upgrades, but all in all , very comfortable and has everything you really need!

Wonderful location with plenty of space

Thank you for a lovely stay. Coming from Disneyland Paris we really appreciate the friendly and welcoming greeting, location to everything, lots of towels, washer/dryer, blow dryers, and wifi. The only reason we didn't post a 5 rating is the coach has had better years and overall decor was flat. Thank you for a fun visit.

Comfortable for a large family

The entire experience was a pleasure - wonderful family apartment in the center of Paris. The apartment is situated in an historic building with a small elevator, has three full bedrooms, one of which has its own private bathroom. (the toilet is in a separate little water closet, which is nice for the big group). Apartment with beautiful, spacious with everything necessary for a relaxing stay with the comforts of home. Well maintained and clean. Located really close to the Metro stop, near a great bakery, a supermarket, and tons of restaurants and shopping. Very safe area. Some traffic as it’s on a main road but the flat is surprisingly quiet. Would most definitely recommend for a family vacation in Paris as you have ample space for an entire group to gather in the privacy of their own “home” away from home.

Lovely, well located Parisian apartment

We stayed in this apartment for 6 nights. It was a wonderful base for a Parisian holiday. The apartment was very comfortable charming, clean, quiet and very spacious. The decor/furniture is simple but it is nicely done. Overall it is is in good condition with modern bathrooms, a large updated kitchen and comfortable beds. It’s in a traditional-style Paris building (with an elevator) that is well maintained. There are shops to buy food (a bakery, small gourmet store, small grocery, multiple take away places, wine etc) and other basic needs within a block or two. Very convenient location! Metro is just at the end of the block and easy walk to many sights, restaurants. It also felt very safe in the area and the building had multiple locked doors from the street and double lock for the apartment.

The apartment is very spacious and can easily accommodate a family of 6 or a group of close friends for multiple nights. The apartment was very clean when we arrived and we were able to pre- schedule a cleaning/linen change (for a fee) in the middle of the week when new family members arrived. The WIFI worked very well. There are fans in all of the bedrooms. There is a good breeze with windows open. The manager of the apartment was very responsive to any questions and coordinating our check in. Overall we would highly recommend this apartment as a central, comfortable, charming and authentic place to use as a base for a Parisian holiday.

Thoroughly Enjoyable Stay

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in this apartment in the 6th District of Paris. The property location was fantastic for tourism and shopping. With easy access to the Metropolitan underground train, it is possible to get all around the city in very little time. Many points of interest are within walking distance as well (leave your high heels at home). The Rue De Rennes has many places to shop with a lot of great French brands. A huge Longchamp store is also a few blocks away if you want to pick up a classic handbag (makes for a great souvenir or gift for someone at home). The apartment is very spacious, with three nice bedrooms. The Master suite is incredibly large, with a private ensuite bathroom, and the toilet just across the hall. The other two rooms are street-facing but worked out just fine. There’s a large kitchen, plus a separate dining room. We didn’t make use of these facilities as there were to many restaurants on our bucket list and we are always outside during the day so we ended up eating crepes on-the-go. Management was at our beck and call and very professional in all our dealings with them. We would stay here again.

Good accommodations in excellent location

Very well equipped apartment in a great location. Close to metro and walking distance to several coffee shops/patisseries.

Plenty of room for 6 people (4 adults, 2 teenagers). Second floor location with decent stairway but an inconvenient elevator. Modern bathroom fittings and well equipped kitchen. Living room quite spacious though the furnishings are in need of an update.

The ground floor of the building is in the process of being totally remodeled. Not a problem for the apartment itself, but a lot of construction noise starting at 8.00am. Seems to have been ongoing for some months and not close to being finished.

We are sorry to hear you found the elevator to be inconvenient but please remember that in such historic buildings, elevators were not part of the original floorpan and added later on once they were invented and placed where there was still some room in the building. The lift does remain very useful for transporting luggages, and we prefer to use the stairs for our day-to-day activities. We would like to assure you that the construction works have finished and that the building is back to its calm and quiet self. We appreciate your suggestions regarding the furnishings and are looking into updating the living area soon.
