Wonderful. Great location. Roomy. Stay there!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 7 stayed there for 8 nights and had a wonderful time. The apartment is close to three different metro/train stations; all within walking distance for an 8 year old. The apartment is large, 4 bedrooms give everyone some privacy and a place to rest up and recharge after sightseeing. The view from the front room windows of the Eiffel tower is great (we were lucky enough to be there for the July 14 fireworks). Good sized kitchen (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, cloths washer/dryer) made it easy to prepare meals and then eat in the dining room. A grocery store almost next door and a bar/restaurant (on the corner to the left) that sells fresh croissant and pain au accolade in the morning. Lots of good small sidewalk cafes along the street. Lots of windows made it well lit, cool, and airy.

A couple of small negatives. Most of the pillows on the beds were pretty old and lumpy (by American standards). The household supplies were a little bit inconsistent. Many basics, like salt, pepper, olive oil, etc., were there (some left from previous renters i think) but some things were missing. Dish towels, but no dish washing cloth. There was dishwasher soap but no laundry soap. Nobody I know travels with laundry soap, so we had to go buy some (and leave it there). Not very many dishes, we ran the dishwasher after every meal. No corkscrew, so bring your Swiss army knife!

Except for the pillows, the negatives were small and easy to overcome; minor start-up problems mostly solved by one trip to the grocery store.

It was a great place. We had a wonderful time there. If you've got 6 or so people in your group you should stay there!

Great view however the apartment was very sparsely furnished including very few kitchen items.

  • 4 of 5

The view was fantastic. The location is great. The size is very large especially for a Paris apartment.

However, the kitchen was inadequate furnished with very few utensils and plates and bowls.

The bedrooms had very poor linens of very poor quality and the same for the towels.

Met Our Expectations

  • 4 of 5

Great apartment. Enough space for all. Excellent view of the Eiffel Tower! Location was great; within walking distance of all available transportation, though the metro stations weren't that close. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well equipped for our needs. Maybe you could put a hairdryer in one of the bathrooms. Would definitely stay there again.

Never wanted to leave

  • 5 of 5

This apartment suited our family of 11 perfectly and was in a great area only steps from the Eiffel Tower. We enjoyed looking at the Eiffel Tower every night as it lit and twinkled. If that wasn't enough we were fortunate enough to be visiting during Bastille Day. As 100s of thousands flocked the Champ du Mars, our family pulled up some chairs to the living room and watched 38 minutes of fireworks in the comfort of the apartment.

The market nearby was extremely useful and the proximity to the Rue Cler was fantastic. The amenities were plentiful and provided the needed amount for our multi-generational family.

KARIMA was a great host and answered our questions quickly and thoroughly. This apartment is well worth the expense due to its size and its proximities to the major landmarks. I hope to visit again and I will be definitely staying in this apartment.

Perfect for our group

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was perfect for our family of 6. It is remarkably spacious, providing plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The large, sunny dining room seats 8 and we enjoyed several meals there. The living room is truly spectacular with its view of the Eiffel Tower framed by the arched balcony. We could watch the lights sparkle at night from the comfort of the leather sofas.

The beds are all very comfortable and the many bathrooms are convenient. The kitchen boasts a large side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker. The dishwasher, washer and dryer were easy to operate. While the kitchen is well equipped with dishes, glassware, flatware and cookware, the one thing we missed is a coffee maker, but it was fun to have coffee at one of the many cafes just steps from our door.

The elevator in this beautiful older building is tiny but greatly appreciated after long days wandering Paris. It is a 5 minute walk to the Pont de l'Alma RER, about 10-12 minute walk to Metro stations Ecole Militaire or Bir Hakeim. We loved being in this residential neighborhood, close to great restaurants and fun shopping streets. There is a small grocery just a few steps from the apartment, but the nearby Rue St-Dominique offers some of the best food shopping.

The owner was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions quickly. She arranged for someone to meet us on arrival who showed us around the apartment and explained all that we needed to know. He met us again on our departure to help us with bags and checkout.

I highly recommend this beautiful apartment for anyone who needs lots of space.
