For breakfast, you can’t beat the Mudhouse where the coffee is roasted locally and the goodies are baked right there in the kitchen.
Ross and Amy are long-time residents of the area. Ross grew up in Greenwood, went to Elon College (now University) and returned to Charlottesville upon graduation to join his great-uncle in real estate. Amy grew up in the Shenandoah Valley, moved to Charlottesville to attend UVA and after graduation, couldn't leave! We love living here.
Our real estate office shares the upper floor with the apartment and we live in nearby Sugar Hollow.
Located right in the village of Crozet within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Only a quick drive to local vineyards and breweries as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway and hiking.
The loft was great for a weekend away. Many restaurants within walking distance. Along with nearby vineyards and breweries. We also really enjoyed the kitchen so we could prepare meals there!
Ross & Amy meant it when they said that the rental was "stocked". They thought of everything and then some. We could have just brought our clothes and it would have been fine! It was so nice to enjoy coffee and fresh bread in the morning, and then walk literally right next door for some great food at Fardowner's for lunch or dinner. We've always loved this area and we will make this our "go to" place to stay when visiting again. Close to Charlottesville, Afton & Skyline Drive. Thank you so much for providing a great, CLEAN place to stay.
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed staying the weekend at the Loft Apartment. The directions and access information were perfectly explained in our welcome paperwork. Amy emailed shortly after our arrival to ensure that everything was in order and to our liking. Coffee, milk, butter, water and even banana nut and pumpkin bread were provided us. The breads were delicious and we enjoyed them for breakfast and a snack after returning from the wineries and breweries. The apartment was very clean and there was plenty of room for a couple. The bath was small for 2 people to use at one time but we managed perfectly fine. Toiletries were also provided by the owners. I was also refunded my security damage deposit very promptly. I would recommend the apartment to any couple or 2 friends looking for a nice weekend close to everything Charlottesville has to offer but also being a little away from things as well. Crozet Pizza was our stop for dinner on Friday night. I had often heard that the pizzas were great and they did not disappoint! We also stopped at Fardowners for a drink and decided to have dinner there Saturday night. Good food, reasonably priced and just steps from our door! Thank you Amy and Ross. We had a great time!
My daughter and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Crozet. Perfect was the word we used to describe our stay in Ross and Amy's apartment. From the delicious banana nut and pumpkin bread left for us to the comfortable and cute accommodations, we couldn't have had a nicer visit. The town is located close to many wineries, great hiking, the Grand Caverns, and Carter Mountain Orchard. Amy left a detailed binder with places to go, restaurants to try, and things to do. We'd love to come back some day! Katie
The owners were awesome and we loved the loft. We will definitely be back!
