Secluded Cabin In The Woods w/ Large Private Hot Tub; Lower April Rates!

Space 480 sq ft
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 2 - 3 nights

Overview

About the property

1 room cabin for two; furnished, total privacy, surrounded by pine trees.

We have lowered our weekday rates on this cabin for the months of April. Sundays through Thursdays are deep discount days, so if you searching for a premium cabin for the both of you with awesome views, total privacy, and hot tub, here is your chance.

All alone in the pine woods, the Bass Cabin boasts of privacy, plus an intimate setting that adds up to an "over the top", very unique experience. One of the wow factors at this cabin is the completely secluded hot tub. You will surely soak all your cares away in the oversized tub right outside the door on the back deck. Also, there is something quite magical about immersing yourself in 102 degrees of water on a cold and frosty evening.

Gaze up at the twinkling stars in the sky above you as you enjoy the warmth of the water. Perhaps the tops of the pine trees next to the deck will be swaying gently in the breeze which adds to the atmosphere of serenity. It's a sure way to relax and unwind.

After you arrive and park your vehicle, you will go down some steps to your hide-a-way.

Inside, a peaceful and inviting setting awaits you as the cabin is tastefully decorated. The walls and the ceiling are constructed of knotty pine and the floor of a beautiful hardwood.

The kitchen area is well equipped; coffee maker, toaster, blender, crock pot, microwave and many other amenities to cook your meals.

The bedroom area has a queen sized bed with a memory foam mattress.

On the wall opposite of the bed, there is a 42' flat screen television. The television tilts in all directions so you can watch it from the bed or the very comfortable glider chairs in the living area. The television is equipped with Dish Net programming, including the local Lexington, KY channels.

This cabin is equipped with unlimited WIFI for your convenience.

Bath has a large shower stall, with vanity and mirror.

Bass cabin is owner maintained and cleaned.

Take a short stroll and check out the Bass Pond and perhaps build a fire in the fire ring. Enjoy the warmth of the fire and watch glowing embers and the dancing flames.

Only one or two adults are allowed at the cabin. Sorry, absolutely no pets or children are allowed.

We are conveniently located a short 7 min. drive from Exit 49 off I-75. Only 10 miles north of London, 10 miles south of Mt. Vernon.

So don't delay another day.......book your special get a way today!

About Julee Skarka

My husband and I have lived in Kentucky since 2001, and we love it here. Formerly, we lived in northern IL.

We have 2 other cabins on the same property as this one, but they have a completely different 'flavor' than this one does. We built this cabin in response to what we believe travelers who have stayed in our other cabins are looking for in a rental.......privacy, woods, water view, and an awesome hot tub. So on that premise, we built this cabin.

We have a total of 70 acres more or less, and have some livestock. Three horses, a calf, and numerous chickens.

However, from the cabin, you will not be able to see anything but the woods that surround it.

Julee Skarka purchased this cabin in 2001

Why Julee Skarka chose East Bernstadt

My husband and I love rural living, and this is a great piece of property. Wooded areas and rolling pasture hills make it very attractive.

What makes this cabin unique

You have fishing, hiking, bird watching, and wildlife viewing all on the same property.

We had very nice stay brought a trailer with our Harley- the owners are very nice and the property is great and quiet. Recommended if you look for something away from it all - my wife and I enjoyed our stay and definitely will come back.

Beautifully detailed, very clean, and so peaceful!

  • 5 of 5

I absolutely loved it here and was sad to go. From the drive to the cabin, to when you reach this little quaint place, your worries start to melt away. As we drove up to the cabin we were greeted with a smile from Julee and Pete. They were very informative and made us feel at home. That was the last time we saw them, though they were only a phone call away. When we walked into our cabin it was so clean and just adorable. Stocked with everything we needed; towels, pots, pans, utensils all we needed was food to settle down and just relax. You can really tell how much they love and take care of their cabin. The details they put into it was just breath taking. The hot tub was amazing! Did I mention horses!! They were so sweet and calm, actually came right up to the fence to say hello to us. Don’t forget to go down to the pound, use the fire pit and canoe. We even hiked around the forest which was so serene. Let’s just say I felt like I was in a Bob Ross portrait! Thank you so much Julee and Pete for sharing your cabin with us. It really felt like a home away from home. We will definitely be back! God bless

Great get away in the Mountains!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I wanted a long weekend away for our 10th anniversary and this place was perfect! We took our utv to the near by wildcat offroad park. If you have the chance I definitely recommend spending a day or two exploring their orv trails. We also visited Cumberland falls which is a nice drive through the hills on beautiful back roads. Lots to see and do if you decide to spend some time at this cabin.
