Precious cabin beautifully decorated

  • 4 of 5

Check in was a little difficult...had to contact the owner by phone the day we were to arrive to get info on where to get key...I had to be proactive because they did not answer my emails. Other than that it was clean and prepared for our arrival. Location was great...could walk everywhere yet still private and quiet at night.

Updated Log Cabin

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was more than we could have expected. It was beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. The king size bed got my attention when I was looking for a cabin because that is what we are used to. It was more comfortable than my own king bed. Loved the way the cabin was nestled behind the restaurant and art gallery and somewhat secluded. It was pretty quiet most of the time. Occasionally a loud vehicle could be heard in the cabin, but our sleep was not disturbed by any noises.

Our first meal was dinner at The Wolves Den(Kamama), which was in front of our cabin on the main street. It was delicious and only a few steps from our front door. Our first day we stayed in Mentone checking out the shops, farmers market and log cabin village. Visited Brow Park which has a beautiful view. We had two delicious meals at The Wildflower Cafe and the Green Leaf Cafe. The next day we went to Desota Falls, which was awesome and the Desota State Park. Our last day we drove to Little River Falls and it was beautiful. We drove some scenic highways and stopped at some overlooks.

Overall, our four days were very pleasant, but very relaxing, also.

No Internet Despite Promises, Shared Laundry Room.

  • 3 of 5

A charming conversion of a log cabin. It was fairly clean upon arrival, but we felt that the 'regular' resident had not been gone long. The laundry room was shared with the restaurant next door. The coffee pot was broken. There was no internet (a frequent complaint). The TV service was excellent, as were the other accommodations, such as shower, bath, and kitchen.

All small things, but they add up. RC

Wonderful spot in an amazing location

  • 5 of 5

Jule's Point was perfect for our weekend getaway to Mentone. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Mentone and about 3 minutes away from the most breathtaking sunset I have ever seen. Not to mention it is located no more than 20 minutes from Desoto Falls and Desoto State Park for all the beautiful waterfalls and hiking. The owners were amazing and accommodating, we can not wait to come stay again!

Jule's Point One-Night Get-Away

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is very clean, comfortable and inviting for a couple get-away. Although there is no "view" due to its location, it is very convenient for walking the Mentone shops and restaurants. The key exchange and departure was seamless and we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Ray!
