Gorgeous condo!!

Very pretty condo. The linens are upscale and plenty of them. Alabama getaway could not have been easier to work with. The reason I gave the condo a four star review was because the bed in the master room was too soft for my liking someone else might think it's great. We had a washer problem which they repaired as soon as possible. Also sent someone with new pans and Wine glasses for the condo and a gift card for us. They go out of their way for you.

Great location!

Great girls weekend, beautiful beach view. Sunday night the Blue Angels flew down the beach as we enjoyed cocktails on the balcony. We will be back again!

Location, location, location is why we loved it

It was all about the Songwriters festival and being Nextdoor to Florabama was our priority.

Accommodations nice but had some issues. Pool under repair which should have been shared prior to booking, we could have stayed at Phoenix IX instead of having to travel there to swim indoors on cold rainy days. Pans are a greasy mess and should be replaced, which I shared with the management husband/wife duo. There are only 5 chairs at dining table, we only had 3 people staying so no big deal for us but could be for a part of 6. Three of the chairs are missing the support bars and are dangerous. I agree with previous comments on tub location, what were they thinking? Sink sprayer was broken, called to have replaced on Friday and it wasn’t fixed until Sunday. The handiwomen said it had been leaking awhile. Fluorescent kitchen light cover missing, told it had to be ordered. Pillows are horrible, we bought 2 and left them in the unit so hopefully they are left for future renters to enjoy. One previous response to review made reference to the quality of bedding, not so much. As instructed in email with check in instructions I sent a text asking if unit would be ready early, NEVER got a response. I am sure it was empty since the clocks hadn’t been changed as a result of time change, they are now on correct time. We expect rental units to be of the same caliber of hospitality we provide our guests. I would hate to have my guests not want to cook due to discusting pans, wake up with stiff necks, and not feel safe sitting at dining room table. No response required if it is going to be as defensive as previous responses to other guests posts.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. Feedback and communication with guests are the only way we can improve on something we may have overlooked. We wish so much that we had known there was an issue with the pots and pans, pillows, and dining chairs. We are always willing to move mountains for guests and would have immediately replaced these items for you. Now we know, so it will be done this week. Regarding the kitchen faucet, yours was the first report of a leaking faucet; we sent the request to maintenance within 3 minutes of receiving your report (I just checked my text records). Maintenance replaced the entire faucet the next day. I am sorry that we did not realize they had not repaired/replaced on Saturday when we received the request – this is something we can improve on and will. We personally walk through each property we manage before every single guest arrival. We try so hard to be proactive and check for everything that can go wrong. We even send this type of feedback to our housekeepers and inspectors so they can realize the importance of reporting to us anything not up to par. Still, sometimes, things get by us – no matter how hard we try. Please just know that given the chance, we will repair/replace/remedy anything needing our attention. This is our pledge to you as our guest. I hope that you do not find this response defensive; it is a sincere response to your review and meant to simply let you know we really did try hard to make your experience a good one, we will use your feedback to do better, and given the chance, we will always work hard to make it right.

Great Location & Family Friendly

We had a great time, it was right on the beach, the 3 bedroom apartment was a perfect space for 4 adults and 1 toddler. A couple of things to note - the shower in the master is over a whirpool tub that is literally beside the bed so not actually a private shower FYI. Also, be sure to bring your own extra toilet paper, laundry and dishwasher detergent as there is 1 packet only provided. We did't realize til we got there that there are No Beach Towels, just a heads up to bring your own! Note to the owner of apartment floors were dirty upon arrival, bottoms of our feet were dirty within minutes of walking around without shoes inside condo.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. This condo was specially modified by the owner, who is a contractor. In doing so, they were able to make a larger shower and whirlpool tub, vanity area, and private toilet watercloset. Other 3/3 condos at Phoenix X have the shower in with the toilet. The shower curtain does offer privacy, but we will evaluate to see what more we can do. Our check in email is very detailed and specifically lists what we provide which is one round of paper products and soaps - enough to get you through one night maybe two. This is the norm for all Vacation Rentals in the area. Hotels are set up to re-supply daily with daily housekeeping, but unfortunately, we do not know how much each guest will need for each stay and if we leave extras...guest usually take them all with them. We do offer daily housekeeping which includes the re-supply. We do state in the check in email to bring your own beach towels. We supply super high end bath towels and bed linens, but not beach towels. We hate to hear that the floors were still sandy. It is a constant battle to get all of the sand up, but we do a great job of it 99% of the time. If you had reached out to us...we would have been there in minutes to re-clean the floor!! We do let guests know multiple times before check in that we are available 24/7 to handle any guest needs. I have looked back and made a note of which housekeeper cleaned the condo that day...you will be happy to know that we have now equipped her with a brand new $300 shark vacuum and new steam mop. We believe by providing the absolute best tools to each of our housekeeping team we can prevent future slip ups like this; however, humans will make mistakes from time to time and that is why we are here to correct and handle anything needed during every guests' stay - all we need is a phone call or text!! Thanks again!
