So Relaxing and Quiet

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I enjoyed the cozy cottage from the past. The wildlife came up to the house. We had over 10 deer in the yard ranging from bucks to month old babies, turkeys, and jack rabbits. It was so relaxing drinking wine in rocking chairs in the evening and enjoying coffee in the morning. Not too far from down town or the wine tours, even had a chance to hit the gun range in Kerrville. The cabin was easy to access by Motorcycle and has all the comforts of home, we cooked in for two night and just enjoyed being away from the hustle of life. We will definitely be coming back. What a great mini vacation.

It was very enjoyable

  • 4 of 5

It was a great spot to stay for our anniversary trip. I was expecting it to be more secluded since it talks about sitting on 160 acres but it worked out ok. It was a quaint place. Piece of history which I thought was neat. The window AC unit did pretty good with cooling the house for the most part. Bathroom could get a little warm. Would come back!!

Historic and secluded

  • 5 of 5

Me and my husband loved this little place! The cabin itself, and the decor inside, have great history and create a cozy atmosphere. We were there to hike Enchanted Rock, and this was the perfect place to come back to and relax. You are very secluded (except for the friendly cows and wildlife of course) and surrounded by beautiful land. We enjoyed exploring the land. The bed is very comfortable and they even include little extras like fancy body wash and flavored coffee. I can defiantly see us coming back.

Nice rustic charm!

  • 5 of 5

We loved it! Saw lots of deer in the pasture. Very cozy and nice. The tub was awesome! The porch was a very relaxing place. The only thing was we could not tell where the property lines were in order not to trespass on another property. All in all a great place!

Rustic Country Life

  • 5 of 5

I was raised a country farm boy. We had cows and horses. This place felt like I was coming home. It is a great base camp to explore the Texas Hill Country! The icicle lights on the outside helped guide us home each night, nice touch. I would have liked to have had access to the upstairs, just for explorations sake, though.
