I enjoy traveling, Photography, snowboarding, jogging, and spending time with family and friends.
I live in Venice Beach California and enjoy the the weather, the People, architecture, and all the exciting things to do around L.A. and O.C.
I'm an entrepreneur, I really enjoy organizing a business concept, nurturing it, and watching it grow to its greatest potential.
I stayed here for 2 months so I feel like I got to know the place and the neighborhood well. Derrick's apartment is as beautiful and decked out at the pictures show. It's very convenient to get around the city from there by bus or the Trax line which is a block away, and the University of Utah campus is also close by. The neighborhood was totally safe and the code to get in the apartment made things easy because you don't need to carry around a key. There's no laundry machine in the apartment but the laundromat across the street made this very easy. The air conditioner worked great on hot days and though it was complicated to figure out how to get the TV to work, it was great to chill out with some HBO and Olympics. Overall, it was enjoyable living there. However, it's worth mentioning that large bugs frequently found their way into the apartment onto the furniture and even the bed. One time I found one in my hair. I imagine this is less of an issue in the winter but guests should be aware of this issue. There is also a pigeon coop right in the back of the house and bird poop everywhere by the back entrance.
