For most of the year we live in Hawaii and during that time we rent out our beautiful, comfortable, light and spacious 2 bedroom maisonette, which is available for weekly rental in the heart of charming and picturesque Primrose Hill Village, London. We find that its private and quiet location - whilst having direct access to all that London has to offer - is proving to be a real oasis in buzzing Central London.

Our property is only a minute’s walk from a multitude of charming local shops, gastro-pubs, cafes and restaurants on England’s Lane and Primrose Hill Road. The weekly Organic Farmer’s Market is just a stone’s throw away. The affluent and fashionable neighborhood of Primrose Hill and Hampstead has an impressive historical track record of attracting prominent people in the Sciences, Literature, Arts, Media and Financial Sectors. Residents of this area enjoy the friendly, local shops and restaurants, however just as easily venture out further to enjoy world renowned Opera, Theater, Symphony Concerts, Museums, parks, restaurants and nightlife.

The location is very green and quiet, yet the bus, the Tube (underground) and taxis are all very easily accessible.

About Anouk de Jonge

We are a professional couple, based in Hawaii. Our family, friends, and business connections take us to London and Europe on a regular basis. Since the trips settled into a regular rhythm, in 2012 we decided to buy a property in London, and make it into a second home. Choosing the area and flat carefully, we then remodeled and furnished it to our taste. There is comfortable furniture in a modern style; art work; excellent appliances; inviting beds… in other words, the comforts of home.

Since we only get to London a few times a year, for a few weeks at a time, we decided to rent it out when not there. Our daughter has her full-time residence in London, close by. She introduces renters to the home, makes sure they are comfortable, and handles any issues promptly.

We take personal cheques, bank transfers and Paypal payments. We will be able to take credit card payments in the near future.

We fell in love with the village feel that the Primrose Hill area has to offer, while also being so close to the parks, and having easy access to our favourite London activities, whether musical, artistic, gastronomic or touristic.

Whether one prefers the Starbucks around the corner, fancies something tasty from the local English bakery, or looks forward to Tea & Scones near the Thames; it can all be enjoyed from here.

All the main attractions are near from this location. Here are a few options:

- Seven minute walk to the famous Primrose Hill Park, which connects directly to Regents Park (which connects to South Kensington, Knightsbridge, Harrods, etc).

- Five minute walk to Swiss Cottage Tube Station (Jubilee Line). Seven minute walk to Belsize Park Station (Northern Line).

- Ten minutes Tube ride to Bond Street, Oxford Street, Piccadilly Square, Covent Garden (National Gallery, Tate Modern, Royal Opera House).

From going shopping in famous Covent Garden, New Bond Street or Westfield (Europe's Largest Luxury shopping Center), to visiting world famous Ballet, Opera and Broadway Shows, everything is just a short walk, tube or taxi ride away. Fantastic flat for a family!

My family recently stayed in Anouk's flat and we just loved it. So jet lagged after getting in from denver, the place was perfectly situated for a family of four and very comfortable. Walking distance to a great park with wonderful views and our favorite, super charming pub just around the corner. Definitely recommend!

A lovely maisonette in a quiet residential area with easy access to all that we wanted to visit.

We were delighted to have chosen this maisonette for our long weekend in London. With a lovely welcome from the owner, it feels like home, is very clean and equipped with everything that you might need.

The property looks out onto a tree-lined street on one side and pretty gardens on the other. The soundproofing is great, so you hear no neighbour noise.

There are several good restaurants and cafés within close walking distance.

The nearest tube station is just down the road in Chalk Farm and a little further on is Camden Town and Camden Lock with its amazing market.

Primrose Hill Park is also a couple of minutes away on foot, with wonderful views over London.

Regent's Park is within easy walking distance and the Queen Mary Gardens were just gorgeous.

Just around the corner is the Washington pub, where the people are very friendly and the food is traditional and top-notch.

7 minutes walk away is Belsize village where we had great meals at an Indian restaurant and a Greek restaurant.

I couldn't imagine a better place to stay, for the value for money, the calm area and yet easy access to all we wanted to see.

I highly recommend it.

The maisonette was really lovely. Lots of room, well equipped kitchen. Pleasant neighborhood with convenient shops, cafes, restaurants. Anouk was very helpful. We would recommend this rental very highly and hope to stay again ourselves.
