Stunning 4 bedroom w/AC home UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP directly on the water of Paradox Lake. On the first floor there is a large wrap around screened in porch overlooking the lake. To the right of the house is a large deck with tables, chairs and barbecue. Below the home is another deck perfect for fishing. Parking for four vehicles.
Inside the home is a large living room with new furniture, 47 inch flat screen television with Direct TV, Blue Ray player with movies and toys/games for the kids.
Upstairs are the bedrooms that sleep seven people. Two bedrooms have brand new queen beds and the remaining two bedrooms have brand new twin beds.
Outside are two docks including a floating dock great for jumping off and into the water. My brothers and I caught a lot of small mouth bass from the main dock. The dock can accommodate a 24' boat.
Two Kayaks (dual and a single) and a small John boat are ready for use.
Please provide your own linens and towels. However, paper towels, basic toiletries, soap, shampoo and cleaning supplies are included.
I was raised in Upstate NY near Syracuse and was an avid camper and hiker in the Adirondacks. I moved to Boston soon after graduating from LeMoyne College and started my career in the pharmaceutical and banking industries.
Robert Nichols purchased this house in 2014
I love being on the water and you can't get any closer.
A lovely little cabin on the water with dock access, perfect for some peace and quiet. Water was beautiful while we visited in late August, clear and good for swimming. House was clean and kitchen has all appliances, dishes and utensils you need. Owner was very courteous and helpful. Local town has all the basic needs and is only about 15 minutes away. The stars are gorgeous at night. Aug. 2016
House was perfect for my family of 5. Right on the water. Water was warm and fishing off the dock was perfect for my 13yr old year old son. We swam allot woke up early to kayak and catch the sunrise in the canal. My only mistake was that I should have booked a couple days more.
House was very clean, comfortable. I think the tv went on once and that was for a Red Sox game.
The listing and photos were extremely accurate in describing this wonderful lakeside home! We loved spending hours with our boys ages 14 and 8 using the deck, swimming dock and the kayaks provided. The surrounding towns offered fun outings to change up the scene when waterlogged - Ticonderoga was also close by for an historic trip, and a local Rodeo on Friday night was an experience the boys will not soon forget. Property was clean upon entry and although there was no air conditioning, we did not need it - fans kept us cool even when the temperatures were in the high 80's due to the beautiful lake breeze. If you are looking for high end amenities and need to stay connected via internet this is not the place for you. If you are looking to decompress and get away - you have everything you need for comfort, but the setting is as pictured and the cabin is rustic. You are right on the water and in a wooded area with all the nature that includes. What we adults loved about the house and the area was the memories it brought back of vacations of our youth. Sticks and Stones and the Carriage were two great places to eat! We had no reason to contact Robert during our stay, but he was courteous during the transaction of the rental - pleasure to do business with. Would recommend this property to friends without reservation.
