Experience Life at Maritime by Stay Alfred

Built in 1893, The Maritime building was recently fully renovated and converted into upscale residences. As the first skyscraper in New Orleans, the building is now on the National Register of Historic Places. During the renovation, traditional elements were preserved, giving this property both old and new charm.

Your condo features an open concept floorplan with large windows which make the space feel open and airy. The light, coffee colored bamboo floors, from the living room to the bedroom, glisten in the windows' light. The kitchen is stunning, with dark wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. It is sure to make meal prep a treat.

This one bedroom, one bath condo offers a king size bed and queen size pull-out sofa bed to comfortably accommodate up to four people. A huge, bamboo sliding wall divides the bedroom from the living room.

There is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy all the creature comforts of home. You'll even have a washer and dryer at your disposal. Amazing and great location!

There is definitely nothing to complain about here. Location was just one block off bourbon. Great place, spacious, and had all the amenities needed. Bring a bathing suit. it's not a big pool, but it's heated and after a full day of walking feels amazing to sit in for a bit.

Not well maintained

This apt is not well maintained. The sofa bed that sleeps 2 of the 4 guests is delapidated with springs coming through the mattress, which sags towards the floor. We - 4 of us- squashed into the king bed, it was so bad. I believe there was only silverware for 3 or 4 people, so we had to buy plastic silver. There wasn't any hand/bar soap. We bought that too. They only give you 4 towels, which you need to use for the pool too, so you end up washing towels daily. The shower sprays water everywhere but there are no towels to clean up. The shower drains slowly, so you end up standing in a puddle of water for half of your shower. Miscellaneous things are broken, like the toilet paper holder; lights are blinking and don't all work. Washer/dryer is a combo so it takes 4.5 hrs to run a load. There were cigarette butts in the very small lap pool. Location is good but we would never stay here again, ever.

Loved this place!! GREAT LOCATION!!

We were very impressed with this apartment and the service!!. No complaints everything was just as described. Rooms were modern and roomy. No issues with the employees as a matter of fact the AC stopped working and they had it fixed in less than 30 minutes!! Pool area was really nice we grilled out & had the TV going one night. Best it is within walking distance of Bourbon Street and Riverwalk. Highly recommended.

Boys weekend

My buddies and I planned a weekend get away and It was our first time in Nola. We know we made an excellent choice by cancelling our room at a hotel to stay at this location. And man was it worth it. We got around super easy. Our car stayed parked the whole time. Everything is within walking distance. It took us three minutes to get to Bourbon St. The room is Fancy With a great view. Everything we needed for an unforgettable weekend. Will definitely stay here again when we bring the girls along.
