We rent a week at Christmas to be able to see our kids once a year. There is plenty of room, the condition is good, and its a great location. Very pleased as always.
I rented the Brookside home for my grandson's wedding in K.C. The house was very clean, the kitchen was a pefect size with a small table for two to eat at, and then a large dining room to have big family meals if you wanted to. The bedrooms worked well for us as we had a lot of singles. I wish the half-bath had been on the main floor as it would have been easier to use getting ready for the wedding. We tried to share the master bathroom which was a great size. This home was 5 blocks from Brookside with cute shops, a great coffee shop, a Panera, an Italian restaurant and deli and more. You could walk down a walking path all the way. Then it was about a mile and a half walk or drive south of the Plaza. Perfect. I would stay again.
This house located in Brookside was perfect for my family on our Sibling Trip to Kansas City. Beautiful location and quiet neighborhood. Very pleasant to sit on the porch in the swing and visit.
We each had our own bedroom and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean with plenty of room to store your things. The kitchen was well stocked and clean as well. The basement game room was such an added bonus for us -- just a neat place to hang out!
We spent most of our evenings around the kitchen table eating the meals we were able to prepare in the kitchen, playing games and laughing!! Such a great location, so close to everything we wanted to see and do.
Thanks so much for making this a wonderful time for our family to spend together!
What a perfect home in a perfect location. This is my 2nd time staying at this location and the house does not disappoint. This 4 bedroom house accommodated my 7 adult guests as we got back together for a college reunion. The back deck and front porch were great for gathering and sharing stories of our college days at Rockhurst University, which is less than 2 miles away. The close proximity (3 blocks) to the Brookside shops and restaurants made it easy for my group to walk to dinner and get groceries without having to get into our car. The neighbors are very friendly and were helpful with recommendations and ideas on what to do in KC during our stay. The game room provided hours of entertainment with a ping pong tournament.
The house was super clean and had fresh linens and towels for everyone to use during our 3-night stay there. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to reunite with friends for a weekend or to bring the family to stay for a week to explore all that KC has to offer.
The house was spacious and provided a wonderful place for my group of friends as we explored the sights of down town Kansas City. We didn't make use of the basement but it looked like a wonderful spot for kids to enjoy their time away from home. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. Drive way was a little narrow for our SUV and minivan but there was good parking available on the street. :-)
This was our second time staying at this house, and I'd recommend it to anyone. There are large living and dining rooms, perfect for just sitting around and chatting. The kids loved the games downstairs. It's close to the Plaza and downtown KC. I certainly will choose this house again if our family reunion plans take us back to KC.
