Spacious Ski-in Townhome in Upper Village, Private Hot Tub - Bring Your Dog

Bedrooms 2
Space 1,030 sq ft
Property type townhome
Minimum Stay 2 - 4 nights

About the property

2 bed, 2 bath large open-plan townhome, family and pet-friendly, private hot tub

This light, spacious townhome is the perfect Whistler family getaway.

Snowgoose's great location in Whistler’s Upper Village at the base of Blackcomb Mountain makes it quiet and peaceful, yet still convenient to ski lifts, shopping, and restaurants. With over 1000 square feet and an open floor plan for the living room, dining room, and kitchen, there’s plenty of space for the whole family to be comfortable. And the private hot tub on the deck is the ideal place to relax after a day on the mountain!

The ski lifts are just a 10-15 minute walk away, or take the free Village Shuttle which stops right outside the door. Running every 7-10 minutes at peak times, it can drop you at Blackcomb Base or Whistler Village or anywhere in between. At the end of the day, ski-in right to Snowgoose via the Home Run trail. It’s also a short walk to beautiful Lost Lake, with its cross-country ski trails in winter and hiking, biking, and swimming in summer. Access to Whistler’s Valley Trail is across the street, making it easy to explore this extensive network of scenic paved trails.

The townhome sleeps 6: there is a queen bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds (which can be configured as one king bed) in the second bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room.

We offer free WIFI, and the living room has a TV, Blu-Ray/DVD player, and a Sound Bar with a 3.5 mm headphone jack to connect your iPod/MP3 player/phone. You can even connect your laptop to the TV with the provided HDMI cable to stream movies. The master bedroom also has a TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to cook your own meals. This ground-floor unit also has a wood-burning fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows, full size washer and dryer, a computer desk, and an entry way mud room with space to store skis, boots, jackets, etc. Parking is free: we have one assigned parking space in the secure underground garage, and one visitor’s pass for a second car to park in a guest space (subject to availability). Bike storage is located in the garage.

Bring Fido! Our townhome is pet-friendly, with prior approval. Whistler is a great place for dogs, and we love to bring our German Shorthaired Pointer with us when we visit. There are many walking trails near the condo, and Whistler has three off-leash dog beaches including Canine Cove at Lost Lake. Fido will love the walk through the woods to Canine Cove, and will make lots of friends on the beach! Dogs are also allowed off-leash on Whistler’s ball fields when they are not in use; try the fields at Spruce Grove or Meadow Park. (Although we want your pet to feel at home, please do not allow them on any of the furniture including the beds.)

About Sherry

We're a family of 4 from North Vancouver, BC who love our home-away-from-home in Whistler and try to get up there as often as we can. We spend winters skiing the Blackcomb slopes and summers hanging out at Lost Lake. Our dog Ellie loves to come with us to explore all the trails outside our door. We hope our guests enjoy Whistler and our townhome as much as we do!

Guestbook comments from the manager

"Wonderful getaway"

Overall Satisfaction - 4 stars (out of 5)

"We enjoyed our weekend @ Whistler in this great condo. The location is perfect , quiet, close to lifts, cross country trails, Upper Village, short stroll to Whistler Village. The new snow was beautiful! Rain changed our plans from cross country skiing to snowshoeing around Blueberry Hill trails, which was lovely! Next day we hiked to Brandwine Fall & beyond. Neither outing did we meet anyone on the trails. Hot tub was a welcome treat, day or night!"

A wonderfully comfortable and furnished ski home

  • 5 of 5

We had a fabulous stay in this lovely townhome with plenty of room for two adults and two teenagers. The kitchen is open plan into the living area which is nice for chatty meals, and has everything you need. The waffle maker was a huge hit with our kids! The area is quiet and friendly and you can ski back down a pretty path. To get to the gondola you see the bus go one way past the window, and then you know you have three minutes to walk fifty yards to the bus stop - couldn't be easier. They come every ten minutes or so. We really didn't need a car at this place and were glad that we'd saved on that. It's nicely furnished and decorated but feels homely and welcoming at the same time. My daughter tucked into the jigsaw puzzles. Whistler village can be a bit loud and full on, so it's nice to have the peace and quiet of this place, but at the same time only be a few minutes' away by bus. We found the owner to be super helpful and accommodating and would wholeheartedly recommend this lovely place.

Excellent Location and Communication

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I visited Whistler along with my sister, her husband, and their infant daughter. Sherry sent us detailed instructions ahead of time on finding the place as well as how to access the home/garage, making our arrival super smooth. They even had a guest parking pass, so both our cars could park in the garage. The home was lovely and perfect for two couples with an infant. It was so nice to have a living room and kitchen so we didn't have to dine out with a 6 week old but to also have our own bedrooms. Much nicer (and probably cheaper) than two hotel rooms would have been! There was a folder at the home with additional helpful tips. The private hot tub was also fabulous. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Ideal Ski Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Some friends and I came to stay at the condo during our Thanksgiving break. Our families are all across the country on the East Coast so it was nice to go and stay in such a homey space during the holiday! The condo is in a great location, right near a shuttle stop that brings you to everything, close to the garage for parking, and the condo was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The wood burning fireplace and hot tub were perfect after some really cold days on the mountain. It was also really cool that we got to bring my dog as there are great walking trails in close proximity to the condo. The staff of the complex was courteous and extremely helpful especially since we had high maintenance issues like late check in and late check out. I would definitely stay there again! Enjoy your stays!

Car: not necessary

Snowgoose is in an ideal location. The Benchlands neighborhood is part of the Upper Village, along the base of Blackcomb Mountain. It's quieter than Whistler Village - great for families - but still just minutes off the ski hill. A short walk or the free bus (which stops right outside) will take you into the heart of Whistler. And it's close to Lost Lake and all of the wonderful hiking/biking/snowshoeing/cross-country ski trails around it.

The Home Run trail on Blackcomb Mountain gives you ski-in access along a beautiful woodland path right to the back of the Snowgoose complex at the end of the day (snow permitting).
