This area is well suited for gatherings, entertainment and fun- your indoor playground! Adjacent to the family area you'll enjoy formal dining where eight people may linger comfortably over dinner.

The kitchen is well equipped and away from the dining area although it has a small dining area for those who just want a quick breakfast or lunch.

The master bedroom suite boasts a king size bed with French doors for a lovely view of the swimming pool and the palm trees. In addition there is a large flat screen TV and a full master bath. Or you may prefer to slip into the pool for a swim under the stars with your loved one on a quiet night.

There are two additional bedrooms one is down the hall, so you can be close to your children. This bedroom features a unique bunk bed with a trundle. The top of the bunk is twin and the bottom full size with a full trundle pull out. It also has a second twin bed. There is much room for lots children and friends. A large bath separates these two lovely rooms and offers privacy for all. The third bedroom is located at the opposite end of the house and very private with sliding glass doors that also open up to the pool area.

The outside area features a heated pool, covered dining are with grill, lounge chairs or sitting area in the sun. The pool is on the East side of the home which offers hours of fun and sun. Visit all the Deerfield Beach has to offer- the shops, restaurants, and the wonderful beach, or spend some days in your “home away from home” enjoying the pool and using the pool toys that are provided. Whatever you chose to do, you'll find it all here.

Should you decide to venture out you are about 15 minutes from Fort Lauderdale. You may want to visit Cafe Aruba located on the beach, and enjoy great salads, drinks and socializing, or the fishermen (or women) among you may want to toss a line off the pier. On weekends Lauderdale by the Sea comes alive with musicians and dancing in the streets.

Another equally inviting area is the world famous Fort Lauderdale Strip at Fort Lauderdale Beach. Browse in unique shops and eat in fine restaurants. Parking is ample during the morning along the West and East sides but bring lots of change as they all have parking meters. It is a great place to roller blade; people watch or just enjoy the beach.

If you venture further on A1A you can visit the upscale area Las Olas Boulevard. This area boasts many boutiques that offer creations and fine jewelry by local artisans. Enjoy the cuisine of one of the high end restaurants and an evening of live bands and dancing on the 'the Boulevard'. While there, plan a visit to the Broward Centre of Performing Arts. Also, for the children this area also offers the Museum of Art, IMAX Theatre, and much much more.

Jump on I-95 South and head to South Beach for the day where you will find many lovely boutiques and gourmet dining areas. Just a bit further South and you will arrive in Miami Beach, which offers a flavor for any palate. There are many things to do and stunning beaches to enjoy. If you enjoy the outdoors and nature, you could visit Fairchild's Botanical Gardens and dine on their veranda or visit Vizcaya.

Another point of interest for shopping and sight-seeing would be Bayside which is situated next to the American Airlines Arena. At Bayside you can take a boat tour and see some famous actor and singers homes.

Grab a pina colada and jump on the boat, or rent a speed boat and follow the tour boat. Also, a simple walk down Lincoln Road may bring you face-to-face with a celebrity - you never know who you may see! There is something for everyone. The Miami Zoo is another fun day!

Perhaps the most visited mall is Sawgrass Mills a shopping mecca which is West of Fort Lauderdale. If you came to shop than you have to visit the Sawgrass. If you like take the helicopter ride over the Sawgrass you would see how it was designed in the shape of an alligator. When you leave the Sawgrass and want to see a real alligator then head over towards Naples. You will always see live ones along the banks.

Also, close to the home, there are many golf courses, a volley ball court located at Pompano Air Park which has a five mile run, bike, roller blade or walk around the park. Just North of the Park is Citi Centre which features Macy's, Sears, and Lowes as anchor stores.

About Kathy

Hello my name is Kathy and I am your property manager. Born and raised in New England, I decided to move to South Florida about 16 years ago. I entered into the Vacation Rental by accident. I was instrumental in assisting another build their company and decided this was something I MUST do for myself. I love working with our homeowners and most of all our Renters. We take time to meet and greet our guests to show them the small things that otherwise could frustrate them. Wifi codes, which light switch goes to what and more. We are on call for you 24/7. It is our sole purpose to make sure you have the best vacation ever and visit us again next year.

Why Kathy chose Greater Fort Lauderdale

Because it lovely, ran by management whose sole purpose it to make your stay amazing. Renting from a company gives one peace of mind that things are as they should be. No surprises when you get here. No pool heating fees or additional fees. We pay our taxes to both the State and County supporting our community so it continues to grow and develop. No for Sale signs when you get here. You can rely on us!

What makes this house unique

Deerfield Beach is a lovely family community close to everything yet far enough away to feel at home. Publix Supermarket is less than a mile with a large shopping plaza and plenty of places to eat.

A Warm Relaxing Holiday

  • 5 of 5

From the beginning of the reservation process to checkout, Kathy the property manager was professional, responsive and flexible. I asked her to set the pool heat before we arrived and when we got there it was toasty. Like most beach area properties in Pompano, this is an older home, but unlike many, this one is nicely updated, clean and perfectly comfortable. It felt more like well cared for home than a rental. Inside and outside the furniture and fixtures were new and top quality.

We had two families staying and had plenty of room for everyone. Location is convenient to beach, dining and entertainment.

We spend a couple weeks in Florida every year and this is the first rental house our family would consider going back to.

A Home Run

  • 5 of 5

Open the front door and you look directly through the house to the beautiful pool. The water temp was comfortable. We sat outside around the pool each night under the patio lighting. The open floor plan gives you the feeling of a much bigger home. We had plenty of space for the 5 of us. The house is walking distance to Publix and several retail stores. You are only a mile to the beach too. Would stay there again!

A very nice home....

  • 5 of 5

We (two couples and a 10 month old) really enjoyed our 10 day stay here, for several reasons. We always expect to get what we have been promised when we rent a house, but have been sorely disappointed by dishonest owners/managers on a few recent occasions. This home is 'as advertised'. In fact, the pictures on the website precisely capture the detail, color and space sense in each scene. WYSIWYG! A spacious, open floor plan, plenty of ambient light, and everything works! In addition, this is more than a rental house, it is a home. It has the supplies expected in a home - e.g., needle and thread, pen and paper, a scale! Clearly, the folks who preceded us left some household supplies for our use - laundry and kitchen soap, paper towels, and Charmin toilet paper - the good stuff! We maintained that practice.

This is a quiet residential neighborhood, but friendly. The kind of neighborhood where people say hello when you pass.

The pool is a nice perk; it can be heated if you desire. We used the pool/deck daily - and seldom saw/heard other people. Herman the Heron flew in to his regular spot in the canal each morning - and back to his home each afternoon. He hunts the fish in the canal - successfully. We did not fish from the dock, but saw several 3 foot somethings - and maybe a four foot beastie or two. Also saw a Bald Eagle - and then learned that they are prevalent in Florida.

The house is about 1.2 miles from the beach; an easy 20 minute walk that we took a few times. We also drove to the beach for dinner one night (Amante's - noisy but pretty good food). It gets pretty busy along the beach roads, but we had no difficulty finding garage parking.

Publix is just down the street - or an 8 minute walk. Golf and tennis nearby. Rt 95 is just 10 minutes away. This is a good spot to stay!

We ate out most nights. Our local favorites: Casa Maya; Pickle Barrel; Charm City Burger. We had an outstanding meal at Abe and Louie's in Boca - it was easily worth the trip. Kilwin's (at the beach) is a good ice-cream parlor, though chocolates are their main claim to fame. We favored the Frosty Point Ice Cream Parlor in Lighthouse Point - original flavors and very friendly service. Less than 3 miles away and easy parking!

The folks who manage this home for the owners do a noteworthy job. Kathleen met us at the house when we arrived, showed us through the house, and answered the few questions we had. Our rental experience was smooth. Thanks, Kathleen and Kathy!

Owner's Response: Kathleen and I are so happy you enjoyed your stay and thank you so much for the terrific review. As you know the reviews not only proper and grow our business but give future travelers an insight into what the home is like. You are correct, it is a home. Any of our homes when you view them online are exactly what you see when you arrive. We know here in South Florida many people rent houses, but we rent homes. Again, thank you so much and we hope to see you in the future. Kathy

So wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

The house was clean and well stocked with all the essentials plus beach/pool towels, beach and pool toys, chairs, etc. The kids fished from the dock day and night ( and caught a lot of fish with some helpful hints from a friendly neighbor) and the pool was a big hit. The house is located just a short car ride from the beach, restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood is quiet and nice for taking walks. The property manager was quick to respond when we accidentally locked the A/C on a high temperature. We were very impressed with this as it was Christmas week, and they were very concerned for our comfort. Kathy was a pleasure to work with.

We would definitely rent this house again. Thank you for an amazing and unforgettable week!!!!
