'Art Deco,' 1600 square foot condo perched on top of a hill, see main photo, nestled in pine trees with serene, private, quiet setting. We are 3 miles to casinos and downtown.
Our townhouse is on the same street as the Heavenly Stagecoach lift, 1/10 mile away and boulder Lift is 1 mile away around the corner. Free Heavenly shuttle stops in front of the building.
Designed by a famous European architect, the design is very spacious and unique.
Our luxury townhouse is moderately priced to obtain repeat customers. We have been with VRBO since 2000. Immaculate housekeeping throughout.
Decorated in lavender and violet, this condo has exquisite porcelain tile floors , pine covered walls, high ceilings, mirrors, chandelier, custom built in furniture, and full modern kitchen with espresso maker.
Enjoy the warm fire of the open flu fireplace while watching on the big flat screen TV, or gaze at the lights of Carson Valley from the huge windows. Listen to your favorite IPOD tunes on 3 stations.
Watch the skiers go by in any of the three decks, or during the summer watch the hot air balloonists take off. Wake up to the most spectacular sunrise.
Sleep in a custom made canopy bed and duvets. Each bedroom has a color TV. and views of the pine trees and lush quaking aspen trees. Relax in a romantic jacuzzi for 2 (2 jets)surrounded by knotty pine sitting areas with mirrors.
We have 2 large decks and 2 small oval decks off the bedrooms. Lovely gardens with fountains and bird baths.
We provide BBQ grill excluding propane.
Washer and dryer upon request.
We are in the mountains and our townhouse is on a hill with steps as seen on the photograph.
Clubhouse with pool and spa is included. Pool is not heated in the winter.
Within the village, there is a local pizza parlor and bar ski rental, grocery store .
Catch a headliner show or share the glitters of the nearby casinos. Walk around the lighted street of Quaking Aspen at night like in a winter wonderland.
The night life, casinos, gondolas, theatres, ice skating, shppping is only 3 miles away.
Try out a hot springs resort a few miles away. Visit the historic town of Carson City and Genoa, a quaint ancient town where deer roam freely.

Ski lease for 30 days or more and/or short term lease.
A formal rental agreeement will need signature upon booking. So sorry we love animals but we can't accept any.

Great Winter Lake Tahoe Vacation
Our family of 5 had the best pre Christmas vacation at this lovely place in the mountains.
There wasnt much snow but the atmosphere was awesome! My 2 girls loved the canopy house inside the bedroom and that's all they talked about on our way home. We learned the area from the information provided by the owner, Lily. We tried all the fine restaurants, rode the gondola to the top of the mountain, saw a fun magic show, visited with Santa and went for a short hike around this resort area. The location is amazing, the views of the mountains and the sunrise off the deck was just spectacular! Everything we needed for our stay was supplied. The jacuzzi was a bonus. Oh, you will meet a bear at the front deck but not to worry, he is friendly! The kids got a kick out of seeing one! Of course he doesnt move!

Perfect Tahoe Vacation
Such a wonderful place next to Heavenly Stagecoach!
My family had the best skiing experience plus a relaxing get away in the mountains. This home is a good location close to the lifts, casinos and a local pizza parlor down the street. We enjoyed the spaciousness, clean, comfortable and all the amenities. The home gives you the cabin feeling with modern furnishings, great kitchen, fireplace combined with a tasteful purple theme.
The host provided us with places to eat, things to do and prompt response.
Hope to come back for some spring skiing!
Great Location, Ski-in Ski-out
This property is all about location. Great home base to enjoy a ski trip at heavenly! Definitely would stay here again.
I will point out, though, that there was not a hot tub conveniently located walking distance from the house and the beautiful furnace pictured did not work.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We hope to stay again sometime!
Be Careful
Beware of the owner!! The property for the most part is good, however....... We spent 5 nights there , 3 without heat in the dead of winter., burr. Satellite TV was not working for most of our stay, too bad. The washer, dryer she advertises is behind a locked door and not readily available, ugh. Additionally there are lots of notes all around the unit telling you all the DON'TS.It is your job to Take out the trash, set the thermostat when you leave at the end of your stay, not the cleaning service you pay for., Don't touch this, don't touch that etc. No helpful notes!. There was limited toilet paper, no paper towels, no shampoo or soap to shower, no basic spices for the kitchen or condiments . We traveled via plane so bringing stuff was not in the cards, but more importantly we were unaware of basic needs not provided upon our arrival. . Lily has a very helpful handyman, Bruce who came and retrieved toilet paper and towels and did the best he could to get us heat. We needed to ask Lily to at least address our inconvenience. She will tell you she responds quickly. So what! Certain basics should not have to be addressed, quickly or otherwise. A truly concerned person might have offered a small financial accommodation for the 44 degree nights our family experienced. No response!!! Lily is all business, no customer satisfaction. While the place was fine, there are many similar units with appreciative owners who might be more receptive to their renters.
From Holland To Tahoe, an Alpine paradise
Stopped in Tahoe to visit on our way to San Francisco!
Great first day of skiing ! No lines at Stagecoach lift!
Not familiar with area but we were given a long list of restaurants and places to go by the host. We went out to Chart house as suggested on the lsit for a lovely dinner and had a wonderful time at the Purple Townhouse!
Lily, the host was very helpful and she made sure we had everything we needed. The place is exquisite, comfortable and spacious! Now we know what Art Deco means. We loved the decor, fine furnishings and the gourmet kitchen. I was able to prepare dinner while entertaining my family. We played board games in the evening and
made several visits to the Gondola skating rink. Bought lots of souvenirs to take home.
Wish we could stay longer! This was a memorable trip!
