Convenient location. No driving required.

We had a great time in Breckenridge. And Sandy is very easy to work with. We met a new person Carla, who responded quickly. She was awesome and made our stay very nice.

Victorian Ridge was comfortable, however, a bit noisier than we are use to. The snow plows woke us up every night and the decor was very dated. This is why I am rating it a 3 star, not because of Sandy or Carla, they get a 5 star.

Over all a good time.

Breck February Trip

We had a great time at the house we rented at Breck. All went well with the property, we could not happier. The location was perfect as we could easily walk into town or the peak 9 lift.

Perfectly Located

I don't have much to add to the earlier reviews for this fantastic property. We were there over Christmas break with our family of six adults and three kids. The bedroom/bathroom arrangement seemed custom made for us, and the living areas very congenial and great for family socializing after skiing all day. The house is very close to the town sledding hill, just uphill across French Street. It should not be missed. Although the place is very nice and was absolutely clean on our arrival, it is getting a little tired and could really use some refurbishing. The lighting is dismal, due to the absurd choice of low wattage light bulbs. Really. The mattresses are in need of replacement, but the linens were nice. There were plenty of towels. We appreciated the good wi-fi. We did not have a car, but with the awesome Free Bus system, didn't need one, ever. It's a seven minute walk to the Quicksilver lift, and only 15 minutes to the Gondola, or you can walk 5 minutes to one of two bus stops to go to the Gondola or Beaver Run. The house is not friendly for folks with mobility issues, as it's pretty stairway intensive. That being said, it was nice to be able to come in on ground level with snowy boots and leave skis and snowboards in the garage. A property manager can make or break a property, and Elizabeth and Carla were superb. Thank you ladies.

Superb Location for Skiing Breck

We had a family of nine for our ski vacation. Victorian Ridge is in a great location, only a five minute walk from the Quicksilver Express Chair on Peak Nine, and a three minute walk to two different bus stops that will take you to Breck Station and the Gondola for Peaks 7 & 8. We did not have a car, and never felt the lack. The chi-chi grocery/liquor store is a block away, and Main street the same. Everything in the property worked, but it is getting a little tired. I wouldn't go so far as to say shabby, but it does need some attention. That being said, it was clean when we got there. Each bedroom has its own bath which was nice. The wi-fi was surprisingly fast, for downloads anyway. The washer and dryer are pretty quiet and worked well, as did all the kitchen appliances. We appreciated the garage entrance on ground level, as it meant we did not have skis and snowboards in the house. We were never aware of the people in adjoining properties. Either they were super quiet, or the building is very well sound-insulated. The management company was on the ball and responded quickly and positively to any issues/queries. The property is certainly NOT ADA compliant, so if you don't deal well with stairs, forget it.

Location

With its authentic, historic, small-town charm, all of our Breckenridge properties are beautifully homey and comfortable. Tucked in the White River National Forest, Breckenridge is a skiing epicenter, with a multitude of recreational activities for everyone.

When staying at one of our Breckenridge properties, you are within 30 minutes of 5 major ski areas including: Vail, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain and Loveland. Despite the appreciation for preserving the old town area, massive ski area improvements continue to enhance the skier experience at Breckenridge. With a new bridge located near many of our Breckenridge cabin rentals, you can now ski right down to Main Street to one of America's largest and best-preserved historic districts.

Also near many of our Breckenridge vacation rentals is a pervasive network of historic mining trails that offer fabulous chances to explore the valley on a mountain bike, a dog sled, snowmobile, cross-country skis, snowshoes or by foot. Other year-round activities include fishing, museum and historical sites tours, hot air balloon rides and mine tours. You can get private, guided tours on virtually any activity imaginable!

During a summer stay at our Breckenridge cabin rentals, climb a nearby 14er (14,000+ foot mountain) at Quandary Peak. Bike rental shops will point you to the paved bike path along the Blue River stretching for miles of scenic beauty on the way to Frisco. From Frisco you can bike to Keystone, around Lake Dillon and even to Vail Pass. Other summer activities found near many of our Breckenridge cabin rentals include: bungee jumping, panning for gold, miniature golf and white water rafting.
