Rental is located approximately 20 miles from Donalsonville and Bainbridge and easy driving distance to Tallahassee for FSU games. Several eating establishments, convenience stores, and a Dollar General are within a couple of miles. The popular 'Big Jim's' restaurant and bar is less than two miles away.
This home is a nice place to bring your family, have a family reunion or just spend a weekend. People travelling find this location a great stop over spot before heading into Florida or proceeding north. Come and enjoy 'Creek Life' at it's best! The property is nice and clean. There is a fire pit and the owners stocked up fire wood for us. The owners were very helpful and went out of there way to make the stay enjoyable.
Had a great stay. The property was exactly as represented. Very clean, good furnishings and appliances. Plenty of parking for trucks and boat trailers. The dock was across the street but easily accessible. The lake location was perfect as it allowed short boat travel to all the portions of the lake we wanted to fish. We will rent here again.
The owners are exceptional and easy to deal with. They offered us a late checkout after our tournament so there was no rush to pack in the morning. Plenty of boat parking and close to Spring Creek Park and Big Jims. A very pleasant stay that I hope to make again.
My wife and I arrived around 3 PM Monday afternoon about the same time our two guests and left Sat A.M. The property is in fairly good condition. Every thing was clean and the appliances worked fine and it is evident some thought concerning everything needed for our stay was there except the food we brought. Lots of dishes, towels, bathroom supplies, washing detergent, etc. Beds were comfortable and clean. House needs inside doors aligned and other minor items. Verizon telephone service was spotty in the house and the wifi was marginal, I believe because of weather conditions. The dock that is available for use was nice except the slip was too narrow for my 18.5 ft AlumaCraft deep vee hull boat. I could get about three feet of the front in to tie it off. We found out the morning we were leaving from a great neighbor, Bob, that the lake was up about 18" over normal levels. (Bob was very helpful and courteous, a very nice man) I have been fishing Lake Seminole for over 15 years and never experienced hitting stumps and submerged logs while running in the marked lanes. It was not safe to run at planning speeds because of the lake being muddy and could not see the tops of stumps and submerged logs, so we idled most of the time. A nice launch ramp and parking is within about a mile at Spring Creek Park. We enjoyed out stay but the lake conditions were terrible this trip which is very unusual. Big Jim's Grill serves a great seafood meal. Very good service, good food and ample parking. It is about a mile from the house we rented.

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at Lake Seminole. The weather was amazing, fishing fruitful, and Georgia is the best landlord we could ask for. I will definitely stay again.
